[NSW] L-Platers: Renew Your Existing Rider Licence for a Further 6 Month - No Cost, Additional Training or Testing @ Service NSW

220

Learner rider licencing

If your learner rider licence has expired or is due to expire between 11 March 2020 and 11 September 2020, you can visit a Service NSW Centre to renew your existing licence for a further 6 months at no cost and with no additional training or testing.

If you have completed either Pre-Provisional or Pre-Learner rider training and received a Certificate of Competency (CoC) between 11 December 2019 and 11 March 2020 but have been unable to attend a Service NSW centre to renew or upgrade your licence, you may now use the expired CoC for this purpose.

  • Learner driver licences

If your learner driver licence expires during the COVID-19 driver testing postponement period, the fee for your first DKT will be waived. Any additional DKTs that may be required will be at your expense.

    • DKT = Driver Knowledge Test
  • Do they do Driver Knowledge Tests right now or we have to wait until they re-open?

  • why do you have to visit a centre? Why don't they just let you do this online
