nvm, i just got it hehehe

  • Checked my email again… Still didn't get it…
Have subscribed to promo emails too

  • Damnnnn all that money spent and no $10 loyalty bonus haha

  • fyi - this is not targeted

    • And you know this how?

      • because i got the offer.

        • +2

          Maybe you were targeted?

          I certainly didn't get the offer…

    • I still haven't received it. So it must be targetting to everyone except loyal customers. Actually a bit annoyed about that. It's a legitimate incentive to not shop there because I will likely be rewarded only if I don't give them money. Weird people

Anyone else having problems logging in to Supercheap at the moment?

    • Nope but I had to reset password and still nothing?

  • +3

    I got it.

    But I'm still bitter.

  • Is anyone else getting an error when they try to activate the $10 credit? Edit: Got it to work using my phone.

    • I was getting an error but then it said I had already applied it - does it show up as Loyalty Credit?

Give it a short time. Took maybe 5 or 10 minutes to show up for me after clicking the link.

  • Can anyone recommend a good interior cleaner for my fabric seats?

    • Hire a carpet cleaner with upholstery wand. Works a treat.

    • +1

      Bowden's Fabracadabra
Would be a decent price with the $10 off but otherwise would be cheaper at Repco with their 30% off this month.

Highly recommend the Bissell spot cleaner too, well worth it for fabric seats and carpets.

    • Car seats you mean? Remove seat from car, turn upside down on table. Use a couple of pairs of pliers or pliers + screwdriver to partly open then remove the hog rings. Pull covers off and wash on gentle cycle in washing machine. Pour fabric softener in before final rinse. And/or buy some nice-smelling cheap shampoo and conditioner instead of laundry detergent. Or do both (first time with laundry detergent. Second time with fragrant shampoo.) Put covers back on just before completely dry, close rings up, refit seats, leave car doors open another hour.

I've tried spot cleaners and steam hand attachments. I couldn't believe the stains that came out compared to struggling with those and it's much easier than bending over/kneeling down for 20-30 minutes per seat.

Simliar thing with car carpet if it's dirty. Remove seats, remove trim, remove carpet. Place on concrete and scrub a ~50cm section at a time with laundry detergent and a scrubbing brush. Then hang it on a clothesline using dozens of pegs along one edge and blast it with a hose to rinse. Most carpet is synthetic so water runs out and dries fast. A blasting hose can get rid of ingrained dirt and sand and chunks of grease. Any stubborn grease try some shampoo again (gets grease out of hair ok) or watered down degreaser if that doesn't work (to make sure the colour doesn't run).

  • I have received it just now. Probably bit slow and all will get it I guess.

  • For those that havent gotten theirs, patience. I received emails for all my accounts (3) at various times

  • all 4 accounts got it.

  • All 5 accounts now. It's staggered.

  • Is there anything with free shipping? I’m isolating .

  • +1

Damn now I am annoyed I didn't have multiple accounts like everybody else do.

SCA must be getting a bit desperate.

  • For those with multiple accounts - did you have to pay $5 membership fee for each one?

    • they sometimes ran free membership offers in the past.
even without those offers, they're still paying you $5 to join.

      • They gave you $10 credit and charged you $5 to join lol.
I did this this only to get the Bowens big green sucker towel deal as it was one per account

        • net profit $5 to you ;)

obviously only really beneficial if you were going to buy from them anyway.

  • Needed a new front indicator globe, nice.

  • I activated it, but doesn't show anything in the account? Anyone else got the same issue?

    • +1

it takes about 10 minutes to show up

    • Mine took 11 minutes and 24 seconds

  • Didnt get :(

  • No dice here but only signed up yesterday.

  • Does this mean the credit expires on 17/05/2020? Or it means you just have to activate before 17/05/2020?

    • Expires 17/05/20

  • do you have to be signed up to their spam to get it?

    • Yes but even then it doesn't guarantee you'll get it

      • thanks. ill leave it as it is then. if i get it i get it if i dont i still dont get spammed. :p

    • Yes.

  • I am so happy to be targeted :-)
always miss on these targeted stuff.

  • I've been a member for years but didn't get it. Oh well.

  • I think if you have special offers discounts unchecked, you might not get the email?

  • I have special offers checked for my account and haven't received the offer

  • I've bought a fair bit from SCA recently and also received the voucher. A bit strange but happy to at least receive it.

Credit applied, but still got charged the full amount on my credit card.
I got the email, clicked through to the link and activated the $10.
Put a few things in my cart, applied credit during checkout, did PayPal checkout for the remaining $1. After everything see that credit card got charged $11 instead of $1.
Credit was applied during checkout (got screenshots of the entire process, even paypal saying I needed to pay only the $1).
Now the order doesn't mention anything about the $10 credit, and $10 credit also removed from my account.

All this and got charged the full amount anyway.

    • Contact them to correct it.
      Good you took screenshots!

      • Sometimes I think I'm overdoing it, but this is one of the cases I'm happy I do (Greenshot makes it easier).

    • Happened to me too. Payment was unsuccessful and now the $10 credit is gone.

      • kodoq, did you contact Supercheap about that?

  • -4

Read all comments just to find out almost no recommendation for what is a good buy.

  • this is bogus, no free monies for me :(

  • $10 from Supercheap today, $30 from BCF last week, I hope this continues lol.

    • maybe the next batch of credits will be from Anaconda…they're all run by the same retail group

      • Hope so…I have something I want from anaconda. Waiting for a voucher first though

I managed to find a good bunch of things on clearance - it was a pain in the arse to go through all the stuff that was alright and find what was available at my store (Hastings), but I found some stupid shit that I didn't need that added up to $10

    • That's the ozbargain spirit.

  • Didn't receive the E-mail guess I am not "targeted".

    • Same :(

  • Cheers bro I just got my email now……………sweeet azzz

  • Didn't receive. Might be time for a new account. I never get these……

  • Almost deleteed the email until this post….

  • You mean discreet more like it? Didn't get mine and I'm Club Plus member.
Let's see by login in first.

    Guys, is this Supercheap: https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/
Nope, still waiting. It's probably taking its because of Covid.

    • safe to let them play with toy powertool?
they might try it with a real one when you are not around…

  • URL for $10 and under please?

    • +1

Not sure if it covers their whole range, but you can use their eBay Store as an initial guide. About 1800 items come up which you can then search on their main store individually.

    • +3
      Here you go.

      8158 items for me

If you want to change the price just change the value for pmin and pmax in the url

      • Thats great - how did you do that search and break out of the categories view?

        • +2

Just searched for some random keyword, set the price range, sorted by ascending price then edited the URL to delete the keyword and change the prices

  • Check your junk email folder. That's where mine was hiding.

  • I get frequent emails advising me about credits I’ve earned from purchases on my account but nothing about this promo $10 club credit?

  • Nope. Nada for me. Though get lots of marketing stuff from Repco, maybe that could be it?

  • Used mine for Windscreen wiper blades

  • Maybe I'm slow, how do I redeem the bloody thing??? I'm trying to buy online.

  • iphone charging cable died so got the lightning cable (9.99) for free thanks to this credit.
    https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/sca-sca-lightning-to-usb…
I don't expect this to last longer but will do for the time being.

  • Good timing as 12pack degreaser for $20 before using credit and shed stocks were low
    .

  • Good grief. Out of stock of everything I want ;-(

    • +1

Even if it's shown as in stock, it might be out of stock in your store. Happened with 2 items I ordered.

  • +1

In the end I did get another $10 voucher, but I ended up paying for the first order.
They did cancel the cheaper items which were in stock in that store according to the website, only the more expensive items remained ( which I could have bought $2 cheaper at BCF.)
Apparently you can't say anything negative about SCA or it gets down-voted.
