    I was wondering why only this mob had increased cashback for apparel (10%) and jewellery (9%) categories earlier in the week https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/536989

    Note also some additional categories have higher %s (some lower) so I assume there will be further changes announced for SB and CR including addition of previously removed categories such as electronics and video games fingers crossed 🤞

    Ergh, everytime I use cashrewards I have to open a fricken case. Here's their latest scam:

    Cashback is eligible only on the following categories, and at the rates advertised on Cashrewards:

    Mobile Phones & Accessories

    Cateogry for the item:

    Electronics › Mobile Phones & Communication › Accessories›Chargers

    It's tracked… but $0 cashback.

    I dispute it..
    "I would like to clarify that the category of your product is determined by Amazon Australia and they have marked your product category under "All Other Products" and hence not eligible for any cashback from the store."

      Hi Zandz. I can assure we don't scam, and what you were told is 100% correct. We don't set the Amazon categories, and we certainly don't decide what is and what isn't commissionable under those categories. The whole process is automated and only Amazon knows what you purchased and how it should track. It sounds to me like the person addressing your concern may have paid the transaction out of pocket after your complaint.

      However, I would be grateful if you could please PM me (or comment here) the associated ticket number as I want to follow this through with Amazon to avoid it happening again to anyone else. I want to ensure that whatever product you purchased is updated (if need be) by Amazon and reported into the correct category. Thank you in advance. TA.
