Despite the reference to "we have decided to extend", I hadn't seen any previous announcement and 40% is the best renewal discount I've been able to take advantage of in three years. Note the discount applies for up to 12 months renewal. No coupon code - discount is automatically applied.

Due to overwhelming demand we have decided to extend the 40% discount on renewals and upgrades for eligible shared web hosting services until 11:59PM on Sunday 17 May.

To activate either of these offers, simply login to VIPControl (ensure your address bar shows https://vip.ventraip.com.au before logging in) and click on the hosting service you’d like to change.

40% off web hosting renewals

Renew any eligible web hosting service and take 40% off the renewal invoice.
The service must have a renewal date within the next 6 months.
You can renew the service in advance for up to 12 months.
This offer does not apply to domain names, VPS, email hosting or SSL certificates.
If you have trouble renewing your service using the tool in VIPControl, please submit a ticket to our billing team for further assistance.

40% off web hosting upgrades

Upgrade any eligible web hosting service and take 40% off the upgrade invoice.
An upgrade is defined as changing to a new plan with a higher monthly price.
The discount will apply to the upgrade invoice which will be generated based on your existing billing cycle or a new billing cycle if you select one.
Note that this discount will not show in VIPControl, however, it will be applied before you receive your upgrade invoice.
This offer does not apply to domain names, VPS, email hosting or SSL certificates.
If you have trouble upgrading your service using the tool in VIPControl, please submit a ticket to our billing team for further assistance.

  There was earlier email came out Monday with same deals. This deal only came in to account I previously had hosting with, not to other accounts… ymmv

  Again with this, these guys have a few good deals, but I have not managed to get on one yet and have been with them for a good few years. They always put a condition on there that "The service must have a renewal date within the next 6 months", and mine is always slightly more than 6 months. Must do this around EOFY all the time and I dip out.
  Any discounts for reseller accounts?
  These guys are Top Stuff for support though, but would be good for discount for long term members that unfortunately miss out due to renewal periods and terms.

    Their deals have tended to be in May and November. I've had a number of good deals over 8 - 10 years. Either upgrades or renewals. I'm quite happy to get a deal here and there as I've been happy with service and chasing the lowest price always comes with risks ;)
