How is the usability of these? Seems like an annoying shape once multiple things are plugged in.

    • They are good for under the bed and up to 3 or 4 plugs in. 5 in and its a mess.

    Got 2². Thanks op

  • all gone I think

  • 5 Power Outlets

Surely you can only use 4 at a time (conveniently at least). Weird design.

    • +3

      They're not behd, good siyze

    • +1

Nope, if you have a vaulted ceiling, these are great to hang down in your work area, or from the roof of the shed.

You can also drop the power plug down a desk cable tidy, so the cord is downward, and all 5 are good.

  • They've been $5 before

    • Yes @ Catch

    Good deal, unfortunate name.

    • Until I got to your comment I thought I was the only one. Surely everyone is pronouncing it the same way?

  • Seems like very limited stock, nothing local to me. I picked up 2 of the black and ones from Catch for $5 during a sale.

What's so special about this compared to any other normal powerboard?

    Kmart 6 Outlet Powerboard $4.00
    Big W 6 Outlet Powerboard $4.00

    • +1

Try plugging weird shaped plugs or power adaptors into those two.

      • +1

They have one more socket though and you could buy 2 for less than this.

        • +1

Why buy a power board without any surge protection?. You're risking your devices without it. At least the Powercube has it. You get what you pay for.

        • +1

Powerboards are far less aesthetically pleasing of you plan to hang them anywhere with a vaulted ceiling.

    • +1

It actually has surge protection doesn't it. As compared to just overload protection as found on those cheap power boards. Those power boards are junk in comparison.

    • +2

These cubes are actually very high quality, compared to cheapo powerboards, the cubes usually sell for about $30, not that I would pay $30, but they are high quality from my experience.

  • avail at ebay green $10 plus $7.99 postage

Go backwards and it reads coca colla

  • Got two at my local OW. They weren't allowed to put them on hold so I had to race to there to purchase. 3 left in store.

I highly recommend Chinese version of these which take both US and AU plugs. AU only version is much less versatile.

    • You won't even need that if you're never intending to use it overseas. Oh and plus you get to keep warranty on the official Australian version.

      • I'm talking about using stuff with US plugs in Australia. Or am I the only one on this planet who buys electronics in USA?
