Bissell Little Green Portable Stain Extractor $179 Delivered (Was $229) @ Godfreys

150

Price drop on the original Little Green. Not sure how this stacks up against the Supercheap/TGG models. Past research would indicate the Little Green has better suction power but a smaller tank, only 1 attachment included etc

Credit to Price Hipster for the alert. Also available via Catch of the Day (godfreys) https://www.catch.com.au/product/bissell-little-green-spot-s…

  • Can anyone who has got one comment on how it goes?

    • Can't compare it to anything else, but I am completely satisfied with the performance of mine. It does what it says, cleans small spot stains. Don't expect it to replace professional carpet cleaning services or do whole rooms though.

Have got this specific one and a larger bissel machine.

      Can confirm it is good.

It has sucked litres of dog poop, vomit, urine and it just keeps going.

I'm surprised someone is selling this model, i thought it was superceded by the more square models which seem to be identical apart from the aesthetic redesign but they all do the job.

Would recommend, maybe fo for the newer one if it has a larger tank.

EDIT: I also believe the newer ones have a heating element which supposedly helps with cleaning.

I just pour hot water from the tap and get straight to cleaning, its a spot cleaner so the water will stilll be hot when you're done.

  • I've got one of the other ones and it's amazing. Get it on special. Can't comment on this one.

    • I've got that one also and it worked awesome when my wife spilled coffee on our sofa.

    • I've had that one for a few years and it seems pretty good. Has lightened the black cloth seats in the car though so go easy (maybe a more dilute solution). Broken now though.

  • I got the supercheap one recently. It works ok, I think 1 attachment is enough and would appreciate more suction. The multi tool is not as good / useful as it looks on videos. You can get everything done with the basic attachment.

    • Yep. One attachment is fine. I wouldn't like the tank any smaller though. One tank pretty much does front and back seats of car perfect.

  • I’ve got a Little Green that I purchased about 6yrs ago, I use it for the occasional spill and it does the job well, no issues with It.
It does leave the carpet a bit wet but probably not much more than the big Britex machines.

  • I want one but the better nodels have all been the same price in recent history.

I have the red model similar to the supercheap one. I got it on special for $168 I think and it's amazing!
Ive used it on beds, lounged, carpet, the car, and its yet to struggle getting anything up.
I do find that the tank on my one even fills a little quick so I wouldnt want to go this model if its smaller.

For anyone who is interested in seeing the thing in action, look up "the detail geek" on youtube. It's what got me onto them.

    • I notice that they're called spot cleaners. They do large lounges and stuff okay?

I have been researching about these products for the last couple of months and found out a couple of differences:

    Little green vs SpotClean auto
    Weight: 5.44kg vs 3.86kg
    Tank Capacity:1.4L vs 1.09L
    Wattage: 350w vs 275-330w
    Power Cord: 4.7m vs 4.5m

The Little Green one is an older model but has a better suction, whereas the SpotClean is newer and has a water heating system, this makes it easier to clean tough stain.
