If it is similar in size to the last duck I roasted…and if you were lucky enough to get the Aldi 8L air fryer….I think the duck may be a little bit long, but you could maybe squeeze it in. I'm keen to try it myself, but have the oven ready!

What recipe do you use for the air fryer?
sous vide
Slow cooker.
Chinese 5 spice rubbed in, sear if you want to first (optional) .. Either some veges or foil balled up under it to stop it cooking in its own fat (you can cook it in its own fat but will fall apart when getting it out), 8 hours low, then 10mins in oven to crisp up skinThank you very much. I think this was the company with the Nhill factory that featured on 'Almost Australian' last week that employs displaced/stateless Karen refugees. I think they've just had to lay off a bunch of workers due to slowdown too. Looks like they need some sales to help out…. although I guess the problem there will be a lot of potential customers who also care about the social impact, particularly in Victoria, will probably also be diluted by the growing number of vegans / vegetarians - so won't buy duck!?!
