Get $50 cashback when you spend $90 or more in 3 transactions.
    Start Date: 25/05/20
    End Date: 30/06/20
Important offer conditions: Spend $90 or more in 3 transactions on your Westpac Credit Card by either the primary or secondary cardholder. Minimum spend of $30 per transaction (3 x $30). Only 1 cashback offer per merchant, per card and will be paid into your account within approximately 7 days. Offer is valid online only.
Note beware I've had to call the Westpac altitude dept in the pass as i didn't get cash back credited to my card account for pass Liquourland promos but they said it was a system error and credited my account them. I hope its not a repeat of last time as i just spent $50 on the last day of the last liqourland promo on 24th May and it was only processed on 25th.

  • Ive never received a cash back once on any offer with Westpac. I don't bother with it anymore. You have to call them every time to get the cashback. Waste of time

    • i know its a bit of hit and miss. I know there was a known issue with liqourland they blamed liqourland systems. it might be worth a complaint to the Westpac altitude rewards dept which handles the westpac extra promos. As long as you were targetted and have an email or its in your offers when you log in and use the correct card you should be entitled to it. I once got $50 credited instead of the missing $10 for my time wasted on the phone and i think i may have been in the wrong as i used a commercial card. it all depends who you get on the phone. Read the terms as only business altitude cards and consumer credit cards are included not Debit cards nor commercial cards like the Choice one. Has anyone ever gotten cash back using a westpac debit card or the BusinessChoice Rewards Platinum Mastercard? i think they may always be excluded.?

      • +1

Westpac Debit Mastercards definitely aren't eligible for the cashback offer. I used the Liquorland one as well and because the offer showed up on my Choice account, but not my newly opened Platinum Mastercard, I used the Debit Mastercard to make my purchase. Didn't get the credit. Tried a few weeks again with my Platinum Mastercard and got the credit.

FWIW, I've always received the cashback provided I use a Westpac credit card (not Westpac Amex) without having to contact Westpac to chase up the credit.

    • Fine print says:

Westpac customers must purchase their products online only using the link provided

There are a bunch of "Exclusive Offers for Westpac Credit & Debit Card Customers". None of them are any good in terms of a bargain.

      • thats a separate offer if you have access i think you would get the discounts listed on that website even if you use any card to pay ie amex but not the westpac extras cash back if you dont use a westpac credit card.

  • What about if your (qualifying) Westpac card is linked to your PayPal account and you pay by PayPal, does that count??

I've purchased a few things through JB's online that way and never received cashback.

    • +5

It wouldn't as it just sees the transaction with PayPal and not the retailer. Standard for these promotions.

I don't have a cc with Westpac (anymore)

I have most of the above offers as well as

$5 off $25 spend at dominos
    $15 off $100 Supercheap Auto
    $50 off $250 red balloon

  • I never get JB Hi-Fi offers! I should use a different card there but they slug a surcharge for Amex so …

Myer would have been nice too. Only ones I got from the list in the OP is First Choice Liquor and Grill'd

  • wonder if the jbhifi works with the jbcommercial site. anyone know?

    • good question. i would imagine it would work if you also have the jbcommercial westpac offer and click on it via your online banking. When i clicked on it the westpac logo comes up as it logs you in and says to call jb hifi solutions if you have any questions. Best do a test ran on a small $50 item or simply buy a gift card instore first and report back here for others to know.

  • Never get any offers on Westpac Earth Black MasterCard. Guess it doesn’t qualify?

    • +1

if you don't get an email or cant see it in your offers i guess you haven't been targeted. all Westpac cards should get westpac extra's targeted offers regularly. if you havent ever got any check with the westpac altitude dept to make sure you have signed up for marketing offers. not sure how to opt in via online banking?. My wife never gets any on her card either but she never uses it. i might have to talk her into calling up westpac to check that she is opt in for marketing offers.

    • from their website "Most Westpac branded consumer credit cards and Altitude Business credit cards are eligible.

At this stage, these cards aren’t included: American Express® Westpac Altitude Platinum Card, American Express® Westpac Black Card,

Westpac BusinessChoice, Westpac corporate credit cards, Westpac consumer or business debit cards.

Purchases made using an online payment platform such as PayPal are not eligible (even where an Eligible Credit Card is linked to that online payment platform)."

  • need a new qantas rewards CC, feeling naked having just cancelled my last one..

  • jump on the Kogan deal guys!

  • +2

Kogan doesn’t show up in the rewards section online but JB does for me

    • same

  • How come I never receive these credits? I have a Westpac black credit card

    • call up and check you are opt in for marketing?

      • Yup, I have offers and get emails.. it's just not in the list of offers under the page in mobile app.

      • I called up and they said they will help me to “activate” my account. Still no offer shown in my account yet. I guess I’ll have to wait for the next round?

  • Does anyone have the Westpac Kogan link?

    • +1

      It’s targeted.
