Pretty awesome deal for an amazing expansion, basically half the price of anywhere else you would buy it (square store, steam, etc).

    Damn. It's a pity that Final Fantasy XIV Online Starter Edition is no longer being given away free on the Playstation store. It's now $17.95.

      EB was selling the starter edition for $4 late last year.

    I certainly can't argue with you on the current quest setup but they're streamlining the main quests in the next patch (which is still a month or two away) - less quests with more xp, which should hopefully lessen the slog.

  I've only just started with the free base game and 30 day trial. Not planning on rushing, is it worth picking this up or will it take me ages to get to the content anyway?
