A decent buy if you're dying for a keyboard to work with in the dark or generally loathe your laptop keyboard layout and don't wanna break the bank.

  Join amazon prime (free trial or $5) and buy a mech keyboard from there for around the same price.

  Z-88 with Outemu switches comes around the same price and is 100x better.

  There really is no reason to opt for a fake mech keyboard with so many good options available.

    the kogan mechanical kbs fair better than the faux-mech style boards until you start spending enough you could just buy a decent mech.

    the only benefit I have found yet for membrane kb is they are quieter

    Agreed. The Kogan (lowest) keyboards have really bad audible ringing when you hit the switches and look cheap and cheerful.
