Huge fan of Anker products and always recommend them. But this is one of those items that's difficult to impulse buy or jump in without being able to properly try it and see how well it works in your individual case scenario. Tempting for sure though.

    • Thank you for kindly remind. :)

    Deal for Nebula 2?

    • What's wrong with the number 1?

  • Question. When we do screen mirror from mobile phone, will the sound comes out from the projector speaker or still from mobile phone?

    • Greetings, the sound will come out from the projector speaker. Hope this answer could be helpful.
      Have a nice day

  • Is there any reason why it runs an older version of Android (v7.1)?
And is there any road-map for upgrade to a newer version?

Crap specs for this type of money. Honestly can't believe people upvote this with the specs whilst plenty of other better models in the past have been downvoted on the same reasoning.

      • any suggestions for better options to look at? im looking for something like this, but not as expensive

  • do you have the black model?

    • Yes, the black model will be avaible in the mid of June. Hav a nice day:)

  • SUPPER PORTABLE

Projects video AND heats up my supper? Thanks, bought 10.

  • How's this stack up against an MP-CL1?

I’ve got the Capsule Max which is twice as bright with autofocus and horizontal key-stoning. I think mine's not all that bright so you’d want to use this is a dark room. I think the Max wasn’t too much dearer online.

  • I have had this model for a while, i've managed to install the Google Play store and Foxtel Go on it, so portable fox sports outside with beers is a really winner. The AFL app doesn't work on it though.

  • Can we expect the Capsule Max or Capsule II to appear in Australia at some point?

Bought one from eBay few days ago after all discounted for $485 delivered black colour.

Don't be fool with the specs on 100 ANSI lumens and 854 x 480 pixels because it was well over my expectation for this can size projector.

    Pros:
    *Portable
    *Very good build quality
*Acceptable quality during during daytime or light on (Not recommended)
*You can plug and play flash/portable drive to play video files, better install VLC for better support of video format.
    *Sound quality was awesome.

    Cons:
    *Expensive
*Copyright issue cannot airplay Netflix or Disney+ and need to use HDMI cable. (Netflix app installed)
*Rubbish remote control need to point at the back of the projector. (Nebula Connect App solved this issue)

    • Second the shite remote, it's really terrible. Otherwise great little projector

      • I know with the Max, I can point the remote anywhere in the room and it works. We had it outside the other day and I was a good 15m away and worked well. Not sure if it’s different with the Capsule.

    • Your review convinced me not to buy one.

  • Please don't be that guy at 0:47 using this projector while coming down the stairs www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLun2VNw7nM

Personally I wouldn't want to spend this much on a project/speaker with an inbuilt battery. Does Anker provide a battery replacement service and for how much outside of warranty? I know during the Kickstarter for the eufcams they said there would be this service but there still isn't and worse they have no place to send them to in Australia! I went through a warranty process with these through place of purchase, would suck to be outside the warranty period!
