      "could of occurred". Good grammar.
(I also received the email too)

received email and my credit card has been fraudulently used
i shouldve heeded the warnings of the other posters who detected a trojan on the site

      • As soon as I paid I came back and then saw the comment about the detection. Went back to the site and saw it wasn't secure. Biiiiig mistake.

I wasn't surprised to see the email today. My account hasn't had any charges so I got off lucky, had the card cancelled.

    • Didn't receive this email and I'm guessing it's because I paid with my PayPal account (which is linked to my credit card) but I have a few fraudulent transactions too.

If you paid with PayPal, it's still worth checking your card transactions. My credit card company did not pick the transactions up as suspicious either so I had no idea until I checked - very annoying.

      • You card details aren't exposed if you use PayPal .. Did you maybe enter them into the website first, before doing PayPal?? Maybe through auto-fill or something? The site would've been actively scraped, so entirely possible they got details before being submitted.

        • I had no idea that it was possible to grab details this way (before clicking submit) and I do have auto-fill… so maybe this is what happened then.

          • @yvi: Yep, can hook into javascript and run actively in the browser. Plenty of sneaking ways to do bad things..

  • Not happy, credit card has been compromised.

  • They should compensate their customers

  • Yikes.. Glad I used PayPal!!
