Hayfexo Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 180mg - 70 Tablets (Generic Telfast) $12.99 Inc Postage @ PharmacySavings

2340
ozbargain

Hi all, I'm associated with a Community Pharmacy in SA. Like many small businesses our revenue is ramping up and down uncontrollably at the moment; making money - losing money without rhyme or reason we're on the treadmill like many other small businesses.

To help better service our regular clients I thought we'd launch a website that we could promote to our existing clients to encourage repeat business without the need for us to refer them back to eBay / Amazon etc who as we know charge high fees.

Who better to "test" the website and offer criticisms/improvement - the Ozbargain community.

So we have a few hundred boxes of Fexofenadine 180mg in stock, and I'm pretty sure @ $12.99 for 70 tablets flat pack delivered we'd be the cheapest in the market (but I'm sure I'll be told if we're not).

CODE: ozbargain (At checkout)

  • Yes the domain name was registered yesterday
  • Yes this is a bog standard Shopify template
  • Yes the website looks like it could do with a little polish

We're a brick and mortar Pharmacy, with a store location, our company name, ABN and phone number are on the site.

I'm hoping we can run a few orders through the site, learn how the payments come to us, how we dispatch, test our confirmation emails etc etc.

I've also thrown up a few boxes of Cetrine on the site, use code: ozbargain2 for $2.99 off the price of that item if interested.

I don't know if it is a good deal (looks to be), but upvoted for your openness about the business, website, etc.
    Good luck

    • +1

      Second that! (on both accounts)

  • +13

Yep good post, upfront and guess what one of our kids needed…
With the checkout process, be worth letting people know in advance that the discount code box only appears right at the end, after payment and shipping details.
You mght get some abandoned carts if customers aren't aware of this…

    • Thanks - Once I pack all the orders tonight I'll have a look and see if we can adjust the checkout layout.

  • +4

I sincerely wish you the best, it's businesses like yours that strengthen our economy and keep thousand of Australians employed.

    Kudos on the transparency too!

  • +1

Are you a owner/operator pharmacy? Really keen to support and promote the small businesses in Australia.

    • +6

Yes - thanks for your support. We are a tiny business, so every sale means allot to us.

  • Hi Jason, i want to buy the Cetrine, but how come at checkout it adds tax onto the $12.99, unlike the Hayfexo?

    • Sorry - listing error. I managed to fix this on my phone during an appointment but I think stock then immediately sold out.

  • How does this compare to claratin? My daughter takes that for mozzie bites.
    Can you ship to WA?
    Thanks

      • +23

A mozzie bite causes a histaminergic response in the body. Taking an antihistamine can bring relief.

        • +26

Yeah, but pennypincher98 has never heard of it therefore you must be using it wrong.

          • @Nuclearvodka: Haha 😂

          • -1

@Nuclearvodka: At this point anything I say will be wrong, but yes I never have heard of it.
One has to wonder though, if someone knows it produces a histaminergic response why they think an antihistamine wouldn't work?

      • +5

May be used in the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis, insect bites, and other allergic skin disorders.

    • You can get the small pharmacy brand packs of fexofenadine in stores very cheap, might be worth testing if it's a long term problem. I haven't taken it for mozzie bites but it does help with my allergies, no sleepiness.

    • Much better from my experience.

  • edit - can't read

    • +1

Yep, written at the bottom of the OP :) There appears to be a tax issue though, so give them some time to respond before purchasing.

      • +5

i've bought it already, in any case, I think they deserve the extra anyway.

        • +1

          Very fair of you!

EDIT: I've done the same, it's still a good price.

  • This is by far the best price I've seen recently. Well done OP and good luck with your business during those tough times.

Interesting decision to flat pack to save on postage- will we still get the retail box collapsed and included for information such as expiry date?

  • Just bought a pack, will be good for spring!

Had a look at the Cetrine as well, but it was charging 10% GST on top of the $12.99 (and then on the $10 discounted price), I assume it is a misconfiguration, as the Fexofenadine didn't do that :)

  • +10

An intro like that could avoid so many deals falling into accusations of being inauthentic. Good stuff OP hope the brave new world of online sales does you well.

  • Whats the expiry on these?

    • Usually these come with 2 year expiry so should be fine to buy around 5.

    • +2

Hi sorry for the slowness (parent teacher interviews), just got back: exp. 06/22

  • +3

Good Work guys. purchased some. and a little tip for you too. best of luck and thank you

  • Ordered cetrine. Website was simple enough to navigate, and the text message confirmation after ordering was excellent. Good luck to you and your business op!

  • +2

All the best op ! Please dont forget us when you become big :)

  • Thank you! Just what I needed. Bought 2 boxes.

  • Thank you so much.

  • Thank you guys, excellent price!

Need deals on Hydroxychloroquine please or disinfectant or any other COVID19 cure

    • +6

I actually thought they were selling Hydroxychloroquine when I read the title

  • order one… thx op

  • -2

Bought five. Yes you should be the cheapest as I just bought 480 tablets from Ebay for 99.99 which is 0.208 per tab and your price is 0.185.

  • What they expiry of these?

    • Usually these come with 2 year expiry so should be fine to buy around 5.

      • +1

Hi - sorry i'm a bit late in responding but for those curious the exp date is 06/2022

  • +1

Sold out during payment confirmation RIP https://i.imgur.com/ppmDsSV.png

    • Have just added whatever we've got left after packing all Ozb orders from earlier - jump in.

  • Sold out, so I bought the cetrine.

OP, some feedback for you - the order confirmation email is a bit screwy where it notes the payment method:

    Payment method
    ending with — $10.10
        Gift card balance:

I paid with PayPal, so maybe wasn't able to determine the CC number?

    • Might be your email client not loading pictures? https://i.imgur.com/ay1IjVk.png

      • The issue I was trying to raise was that it was showing how much we paid, as opposed to showing the last x digits of the credit card number.

  • Hi OP do you have any generic Claritin, I get bad itching from mosquito bites.

    • +2

Hi - We aren't as sharp on our pricing of generic Claratyne. We have a generic available (Lorastyne), over the weekend I plan to start populating the site properly, but since you asked - I'll start with this product.

      https://pharmacysavings.com.au/products/lorastyne-100-tablet…

      USE CODE: ITCH10

To bring it down to $17.99

  • +1

Damn, missed out on the Generic Telfast. Any chance of a restock? 😁

  • Hahaha, can't believe it's sold out already!

    Well done OP!

  • Hey OP, I have a condition where i take 4 of these per day….if you restock, let me know!

    thanks!

  • +2

One thing I've appreciated with online shopping is multiple photos of the product (especially if it's medication).

An example is Woolies, they take photos of every angle of the product even if there is no discernible information to convey

Thanks everyone, I'll be working back late tonight packing these orders - thanks for your support and comments.

If we're left with stock at the end of the night once all orders have packed I'll light up this deal again with whatever we've got left.

    Thanks again,

    Jason

    Does this cure covid?

  • +3

Hi Jason, just FYI there's a typo in the description of Hayfexo:

    Warnings and Disclaimers
    DO NOT USE HAYFEXO
    - If you are pregnant or may become pregnant
Check with your dcotor or pharmacist before taking this medicine

    • Thanks!

  • +1

"And so shines a good deed, in a weary world." willy wonka.

Good luck, jason101 ! I'm sure that if you continue your transparency and decent deals, you'll be supported, even if prices rise a bit.

  • Great price OP, I missed out, but will be buying 2-3 for me and the family if you restock!

    • Restocked with what we've got left.

  • I misread the title as hydroxychloroquine and had my neg button all fired up and ready to go!

    • I'll take one for the team brother. Do your worst.

  • Ah bugger thats the type I use!

  • Ah very keen if you restock - I need to restock my antihistamines stash (allergies are wrecking havoc this year) but it’s always so expensive! Good luck!

    • +4

OK - all orders from today have packed thanks to a team effort. RESTOCKED, we have about 20 boxes of Cetrine left and 1/2 a carton of Hayfexo.

      • Thanks so much! Hayfexo is still all gone but got some cetrine. Got one box each for myself and my partner as we both suffer badly from allergies. Would have bought more tbh but I won’t be greedy 😄

  • Thanks op, copped a pack. Very good price, only recently paid for $40 for 60x 180mb Telfast tabs from Priceline

  • Any idea what's happening with ranitidine? No updates for a bit

  • -1

Any Alprazolam or OxyContin? Asking for a friend etc etc.

  • Thanks OP, grabbed a box as I'm constantly going thru this stuff…right after I paid $20+ for a box today. Even at the normal price its still a decent deal.

  • Awesome, thanks OP, grabbed a couple of the Telfast generic. Great deal!

  • Missed out.. again during checkout

    • +1

      PM SENT

  • All sold out now, dammit! Just opened ozb today…

    • +1

      PM SENT

  • Will there be anymore Fexo?

  • Also keen if any left plz!

  • Damn, how did i miss this :(

  • Please let us know when you have more! Missed out :(

  • What a fabulous deal - good luck OP! Sad, I missed it altogether! Will keep an eye on the next one. :)

  • +2

Hi OP, just a suggestion - add a pic of the back of the box for each product. Some of us need to check what else are in the tablets. Some generics have sugars/lactose in them.

    • Thanks I'll do this from now o, on all products, appreciate the feedback.

  • OP,any chances for re-stock?

  • It is available on eBay for AU $17.99 including postage. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/383565628312

  • Lolz, it is the same guy Jason selling them on the eBay. thanks Jason!

  • +2

Great seller. Ordered some Panamax via EBay during the peak of the panic buying and got a nice thank you email.
Really missing Adelaide, will certainly bookmark and support South Aussie business!

  • Hope there'll be some restocking…fab price that I ony just saw when I opened my emails

  • Good price for here. It's ridiculous how expensive antihistamines are here. Same price for a large box will get you a year's supply in the US !! (even with exchange rate etc)

    • Got my four boxes, same size and dose as Clarityne (I bought Loratadine). Very reasonable price. Very happy, thank you!

  • +5

Hi everyone, thanks for your support. Sorry all the website test stock has been exhausted.

I've pulled some of our eBay stock for Ozbargainers that missed out:

    https://pharmacysavings.com.au/products/hayfexo-fexofenadine…

    Use code: TAKE3

For $3.00 off. (Brings price to $14.99)

    • what is the expiry on these?

edit: don't worry..found out from comments above

    • Legend thanks for that, picked some up, still ridiculously cheap compared to other brands!

    • Thank you OP. Purchased

  • +1

    I can't believe I missed this deal.

  • Anyone received their orders yet?

    • +3

Hi Julz, please keep in mind delivery is typically 5-6-7 working days, it's been 4 working days since the deal posted and probably 3 working days since many of the orders went out, all orders shipped either same day or next day after the order was placed. I know some Ozbargainers have received their items and I have also been contacted by some already complaining of non delivery - please hang in there.

  • Received the order today. Thank you very much

  • Received mine today. Arrived safely in a padded bag. The tablets are a lot bigger than I thought they’d be though!

  • Got mine yesterday. Great packing idea. Thanks OP!
