  • Hell yes. HELL YES. Looked at Padbury the other day and they don't have it.

  • I wonder if they deliver to rural QLD :(

  • DR PEPPER!

  • +1

If it wasn't so far away, I'd buy a case or 2! :)

  • This was also available last week at IGA Belvidere St Belmont.

    • Oh no, did I miss out or is it still on? Oh well, will have to go to Kingsley :)

    • +1

Then why didn't you post it?

      • +1

Didn't realise it was such a good deal - I mentioned it to people at work and they said I'd have to pay them to drink it. I'll post it next time, I promise!

Dr pepper divides opinions like few other products, especially on ozb

        • +1

you either love it or hate it. there is no inbetween.

  • How many left?

  • Yay!

  • +1

So jealous my local iga never has deals like this:(

  • Just drove up there (about 15 min drive from mine) and there still seemed to be a fair few left, they're scattered around some of the isles. Bought 2 packs of them (sorry, I got greedy :P) but yeah there's still a few around!

    • Don't blame you :) I'd do the same if I could be bothered driving that far from Vic park!

    • There were heaps when I got there near the back of the store opposite the juice & cheeses. Bought 4 of em :D

      • Now I know I should have bought more :P

        • Wanna start a delivery service to the guys stuck in work like me? haha

        • Should still be some more there!

        • Wow I did not see all that out the back, gee I am now kicking myself for not getting more!

        • Dr pepper and mi goreng… heaven!

        • Actually they had boxes of 30 Rammen noodles on sale as well - an Uni student's dream!

Save $25??? a 24 Pack of Dr Pepper can't seriously retail for $35!!!! No wonder it died so quick!

    • It's all imported now, not produced locally or something along those lines. Hence it's a lot more expensive when it was a local product years back!

    • -1

I remember asking someone at the markets if they sold slabs of it and was quoted $70 - was being sold for $3.50/can.

    • That's a genuine saving. I just paid $36 for a 24 pack from my local joint.

    • You do realise that this is an imported product? Consumers are usually more inclined to pay a premium for items which can't be sourced easily.

In the future, please do not post such stupid comments yea? :)

You do realise that I just had 3 other people telling me about this already??

        • It's expensive because it's all imported

  • do any igas in victoria sell dr pepper at all?

    • my local iga in Blackburn sells dr pepper and cherry coke, for about $2.50 each, I'm yet to see a deal though,. Best deals ice found are in the city 24 packs at half price ( forgot price but it was posted ages ago and is still up) or 4 for $7.95 at mini mart on swanston st

      • yeah the walkers doughnuts or whatever that is called (near flinders) sell dr pepper 30 bucks a slab, and then you have USA foods, which that is there usual price

  • Darn..I want an IGA here to sell this for cheap…I'm stuck with paying like $3 for a can :(

    • Same, I gave it a positive vote even though I can't get it myself at this price. I still grab one once a month or so for $2.50 a can from my local IGA.

edit: I just noticed the slab in the photo says "Best Before End November 11", may be a reason why they're reduced if the whole batch is coming up to expiry.

  • +3

Just been back - more stock is out… if any OB'ers want me to pick up some slabs I'm happy to do so - you can then come and collect them at your leisure… just PM if you're interested

  • I saw this deal also at Kinross IGA last week. Not sure if it's still on there. I will look when I'm in next.

  • +1

I have the catalog here, was going to post this deal.

Applies to the following stores (while stocks last): Bullcreek (had 24 cases on display on Saturday), The Park Hive (?), Broadway (Nedlands), Carine, Marmion.

    Plus Kingsley and Kinross evidentley

great price! i think the return flights from melbourne may kill the deal though :(

Anyone have any idea if the IGAs in melbourne have Dr Pepper?
