I thought that the Acer from JB was locked to Tel$tra?
Check the thread he linked. You'd be crazy to buy the Wildfire. It has less than half the pixels.

The Acer IS locked to Telstra, but can be easily unlocked by upgrading to Android 2.3.4 or 2.3.5.

+1. The Wildfire isn't a good phone even at $195 delivered. The Acer Liquid Metal is a far superior phone at $128 with a 3.6" capacitive screen, and has better specs too with NextG support.
Still not a bad deal if you specifically want a Wildfire S.
I would go for the Acer too, however the Wildfire S also has a capacitive screen with 850mhz network support (if you are implying otherwise). That said, the internal memory on the Wildfire S is crippling as you can only install a few apps before you're out of space.
Yep I was implying that, but, as owning a Huawei Sonic 3.5" and having used the Wildfire S I can't stress enough how bigger difference 0.3"/0.4" makes. Also the Acer has an 800x480 screen - more support for games and also supports the Next G network along with the Wildfire S.

Few week ago I bought Same phone of Unique Mobiles - delivery was fast. However, Following was noticed:
The Phone box was unsealed.
The screen didn't had any original screen protector.
The Screen had lots of finger(oily) prints.
The battery was inserted into mobile phone.
The battery case was not closed properly.
It was like buying a second hand phone from them - pretty upset. - I wouldn't recommend them
(First and most probably Last experience)

cant really see this as a bargain when DSE had the Legend for $199 not so long ago which was a superior model.
