    I'm currently living with this…
Little to no insulation in the door so its capacity to dry anything is limited
    creaks like a wining cat
Has twice stopped during a cycle leaving water at the bottom - requiring you to start cycle again
wheels on the bottom tray are like shopping trolley wheels but the whole thing is so light you can manuver it into place

    Luxury - this is NOT

I struggled with your comment, more than the OPs

I’ve read this 3 times and I still have absolutely no idea what it means.

      • t400, Your comment is unnecessary and rude. Let's all work together to act respectfully.

We bought a house and this came with it.
Used it once then it became a drying rack.

Would not recommend. Plates are dirty and doesn’t try.

I'm pretty sure most people aren't using this dishwasher properly so they have issues. This is pretty much the same one I have from aldi under Stirling brand, looking by the manual book. You cant go washing just what you used for that one day, one meal. Few plates, 2-3 forks, spoons, knives, couple of pots, set it on lowest or 2nd lowest program and expect it to be all good, you have to use the highest program, intense and right dishwasher tablets, can't use whichever, I tried few and for me at least fairy platinum works best. The drying process is long, takes time (for me that washing program lasts 140 minutes and last 40 minutes are drying) and the intense program or whichever is highest on your dishwasher is needed if you want it dry, don't expect results on low programs. I gather up dishes for a full wash, usually around 80% full (placement of the dishes is also important, you need to turn all pots, everything that's shallow and could hold stuff in it like a pot, cup, lid, soup plate etc. Upside down so the steam does its magic and the dirt slides off the dishes to the bottom of the dishwasher, not stay on/in the dish that's washed) , that's every 2nd day, sometimes rarely 3rd day. Dishes are to be ONLY dirty, not full of food on it that you could scrap off and call a bite, just dirty/stained like you took food that you've eaten and smeared all over the dishes. Hope this helps some people with how to use a dishwasher properly, effectively etc. All this can sound daunting and as a lot of work but it's not at all, once you get used to its like tetris, 10 minutes max to get it all done, it's worth it, compared to handwashing that amount of dishes.

  • How does this one compare to the one going on sale at Aldi's ??

I have no idea about dishwashers … any advice is appreciated.
