          @no47: Can you download the Foxtel app from the App Store? That’s all I am really after. Sony’s Android OS allows it, as it uses the google play store, do these?

  So I purchased one of these to see if it was any good and since everything I have at home is loaded up with Googleware i found it was a bit useless. The Vodafone tv is indeed the best unit imo.

  I assume I can use this to cast from a mobile device? I use Foxtel Go (sponging off the parents Fox subscription) which supports screen share. Have the old chromecast which only works on 2.4Ghz which is such a pain as I have to switch from the 5ghz when streaming. Does this support 5GHZ?

    They don't. You will need to play them from a device and cast it to your Fire Stick I believe.
