  • Output Resolution Supported

  • I've been trying to figure out if I can connect this to my echo and use voice control I'm not sure if it's available yet the reviews that are saying no seem to be old does anyone have this now that can confirm?

Nice. Just waiting on the 4k these days

  • Crazy there’s no 4K one…

      4k @Tecobuy $80

      • Do the 4k versions work in AU? Haven't looked into them, cant see why they wouldn't?

        • yes they do, have been using one (imported from US) for about 18months now. A lot better than the original model.

          • @no47: Yes they without a hitch

          • @no47: Can you download the Foxtel app from the App Store? That’s all I am really after. Sony’s Android OS allows it, as it uses the google play store, do these?

            • @stuarty9: You will have to sideload the app. Amazon store doesnt have Foxtel/Binge apps

  • So I purchased one of these to see if it was any good and since everything I have at home is loaded up with Googleware i found it was a bit useless. The Vodafone tv is indeed the best unit imo.

    • 2 different form factors

  • I assume I can use this to cast from a mobile device? I use Foxtel Go (sponging off the parents Fox subscription) which supports screen share. Have the old chromecast which only works on 2.4Ghz which is such a pain as I have to switch from the 5ghz when streaming. Does this support 5GHZ?

Does the Vodafone TV support AppleTV+?

    • I want to know this as well, and if Apple TV can be side loaded

      • I had a quick look now that I'm at the PC, and it doesn't seem like it (Android TV based).

      • Same here - would like to find out if it can be side loaded.

So far haven’t been able to find any info on this.

  • How do the Australian free view apps work on this?

    9now
    iView
    SBS on demand
    TenPlay
    Etc

    • They don't. You will need to play them from a device and cast it to your Fire Stick I believe.
