A bit steep for the 7. Even though it’s a great headset, I wouldn’t pay that much
Good Price for the 5 but shipping kills the deal ($39!)

  • The Arctis 7 is decent. I find the mic doesn't reach my mouth though. Like it stops short about 2cm away. In saying that, I thought the mic sound quality of Steel Series was supposed to be decent….haven't had anyone complain before though…

Dont buy these there shit; No bass, especially if you plan to use these on ps4 or multi devices without the software and Steel Series has disgusting customer service.

Do you self a favour give your money to a company that cares about you! HyperX Cloud Flight S are much better sounding.

No issues with mine. Bass is a little weak but overall it sounds good. Never had to deal with customer service so can’t comment on that. Not worth $210. Maybe $150-$175

    • The Arctis 7 sound very flat out of the box, so yeah if you're using a console they're probably not great. It's not that they don't have any bass, they're just far too mid-heavy. Using software, cranking up the bass and treble or dropping the mids makes them a fantastic headphone.

  • Grey import - still bought one after my HyperX's died

  • I paid 181 delivered for the 7. late last year.

    • I paid $189 delivered for the white ones last week.

      • where?

        • Kogan

    • I paid $150 in Nov 2018 from Amazon. Only complaint that I have is that the pads are thin so the inside pushes on my ear and I get pain after wearing for +30mins.

  • Decent enough headphones. My problem is that the cord keeps coming out from where you adjust the volume (not the one that is part of the headset). It's a very small socket. This is quite frustrating and something people should be aware of before buying the headset.

Anyone who's into waiting for their bargains, Kogan has the Arctis Pro with GameDAC for $289 - shipping on 29 July.

Usual price for the the Pro with GameDAC is around $500

Edit- it's an import version. Still a bargain at half price

  • arctis 7 is good, i can walk around my house & to my shed while listening to music from my pc

  • Arctis 7 is great. Can recommend.

  • didnt know the 7's were wireless via usb receiver - awesome but will wait for a slightly better deal i think

  • PS the ski goggle head band is not for everyone.

  • I just got mine today, I got the white set for $199. I thought they were terrible at first but as soon as I got the software installed and turned on 7.1, bass and vocal boost it sounds really good
