These boards are around $469 at places like PCCG, PLE.
Quite the bargain getting it from US Amazon instead. Unfortunately there isn't any bargains for higher spec motherboards, just this middle spec model.

  • For this price, would a B450 Tomahawk be better value?

This mobo is for intel 10th gen so it isn't compatible with the same CPUs as the B450. If you're looking for a new CPU and motherboard, ryzen + B450 is definitely the better value.

yeah!! $380+ for a ASUS A series board….. can't believe Intel is still playing their socket games today, on 14nm+++++++…..

Damn… I seem to remember a few Core generations ago the A series boards were just over $200 while $400 got you the bees knees DELUXE.

A few years ago could have been when the aud was nearly or above $1usd

        • Nope, I'm talking around when 6th gen came out. Exchange rate was higher but doesn't justify almost twice the cost even if you adjust for inflation since 2015 which isn't even 10%.

  • Very tempting. I might hold out for a board with 14 power phases though.

Is 14 power stages the same as 14 power phases ? Sorry if it's a stupid Q lol I switch off after 3 mins of buildzoids ramblings….

      • It's 12 power stages for the vcore, Asus has them in pairs to make a 'big' 6 phase VRM.
