    Just purchased the tcl50p8m, $480 after discount. Good guys have for $495 but are essentially completely oos. I know it's been cheaper (wasn't quick enough last year when it was $380), but given they have stock for a well reviewed tv with android built in seems worth it to me.

    Actually bought a Philips 50 inch from tgg commercial yesterday for $420 before I noticed this one, so returning now as avoids having to fork out for a visa box or Chromecast ultra

  It is either all ok or nothing is ok. If you are going to boycott China products it has to be everything including all products manufactured in china or even a single part in a product from china. Otherwise you are a hypocrite. To make it easier for a lot of you maybe you can strip down all your clothes and run around in the bush bare naked. It is the only way you can truly boycott China ;) Just make sure it isn't in the quarter of Australia that China own though.
