@Tacooo: It will actually be for my son. He is a bit on the heavy side. I got him a AUD30 smart watch from Aliexpress a few months back and it actually encouraged him to exercise more than usual, I could see the results and was quite pleased with the $30 investment. Unfortunately, it started to develop problems with the screen recently, not sure whether it is because the watch couldn't take the knocking around during exercising. I will ask him whether he likes the design when he gets home from school. I think a G-shock style smart watch would suit him much more than an Apple style watch. He is still learning to look after his things properly. :)
Great watch, from a purely fitness tracker perspective awesome. It doesn't look so awesome though, but battery never (as in 30 days +) needs charging, has onboard GPS
Have had Garmin Fenix and various Polars over the last ten years.
Ditch the official App and use Amazfit Notify, lots of metrics.
Is it accurate..compared to a $800 watch? It's pretty good, easy to sleep with on.

Thanks, although Notify & Fitness for Amazfit is only available on Android. I use Amazfit app on iPhone and sync the workouts to Strava. Strava then syncs to Apple Health as Amazfit app doesn't send distance data to Apple Health.
I think the Bip looks ok but the screen is not the best at a resolution of 176x176 with low colour space. That said, I agree - it's a great budget smartwatch (with GPS) and the battery life is excellent.

There is a GTS & S models as well…is the screen the only difference?Don't really mind the the GPS nor the HB sensor, as long as the battery lasts for 10+ days i'm happy, it already out performs most other smartwatch in the market
