    Thanks to all the tips from OBs I have managed to get some airpod pros and the watch, so a big thank you to everyone who has offered advice.

    I am still on free trial for ebay plus and wondering if I should cancel or pay the $49. Does anyone know how often they do these promo months, as I might pay for the subscription if it is more than once a year.

      They do these several times a year last one I think was March(scored myself airpods then), and Nov (blackfriday? got zlich) before that. but as far as I know the only month long one is EOFY.

      I've just seen Ebay are handing out $30 gift cards to anyone who continues with membership after the free trial - or for existing members who renew their membership. You just have to go to Cancel Membership and follow the prompts. Looks like the gift card is valid for 3 years from the date the membership is paid. Not bad if you use ebay even if just for promo periods.

    Missed it again. This time I tried refreshing the item page, and when it came live I'd click on confirm and pay in another window. Didn't work, just had an error message. I don't get how other people are getting that leave in cart trick to work. Do you have ad blockers turned on/off, or some other trick?

      Don't refresh, just click confirm as that refreshes as well. Don't worry about what it say, just keep clicking.

        I don't think I've been clear, the item literally just disappears from my cart once I click confirm and pay, there's no opportunity to click confirm and buy again once it gets to the error page.

        Can I ask what page you are talking about? Is this on your shopping cart page, or on the product ad page?
        Neither of them have a "confirm" button, just buy it now, add to cart, or go to checkout.

        Had it in my cart from earlier drop but spamming confirm didn't work for me. Had one error saying the seller had changed the item listing and then next click it said something went wrong.

              1. buy it now -> confirm and pay
              2. add to cart -> go to checkout -> confirm and pay

              option 1 is quicker tho. the confirm and pay buttons are located within the checkout page

              lets say it's another purchase and there is stock, you press buy it now which takes you to the confirm and pay page

              even if you are on the confirm and pay button and keep smashing it when it is in stock.. there's no guarentees you would get it either

        So what I did was press "Buy now" at 12pm drop and it went straight to the checkout page with my credit card details, address and promo code. Filled all of that in and pressed "Confirm buy now". I unfortunately didn't win at 12pm so I kept that tab open. I googled a world clock website which had the time in seconds. I waited until 1:59:50 (10 seconds before 2pm) and just spam clicked the "Confirm buy now" button for several minutes because sometimes they delay the drop. Lucky enough to work! Hope that helps!

    Don’t get your hopes up. Everyone is doing the same trick and there is definitely more than 150 doing it each time. That’s why one big drop is more fair as trickle feeding150 at a time are going to the ‘quick’ people going back for more on new accounts

      Agreed, I wouldn't bother with this one as it's pretty much just luck of the draw even if you do manage to have it in the checkout from the earlier drop - I've tried this for both 12pm and 2pm one but had no luck.

    Tried every AirPod Pro sale this month (3 in total?) and finally got one at 12pm today. Stoked - used the usual method of spam refresh until "Buy it now" was visible on an earlier drop and then waited until next drop and spammed "Confirm and pay" as mentioned by many above.

    these are the two screens you may see after spamming confirm and pay.
    if you are on page 1, you should be good to go on the next drop (just hope it doesn't turn into page 2).
    if you are on page 2, then out of luck and need to restart.
    obviously there is also the "thank you for your order" if it gets through

    Guys… So Im on the checkout now - and i've had this checkout since the 10am drop (but failed at 12pm and 2pm "Thank you for your order" screen without purchase)
    Now… When I click on "confirm and pay".. instead of coming up with the error like it usually does.. it's goes to this kinda of similar "check out" screen but the "pay now" button disappears and also the "pay with…" options disappear….
    IDK what that means?? I dont know if it means I should still try to click on that button at 4pm?..
    Does anyone know?

          Yes, I am still going to drop the membership because ultimately I am not going to keep paying for it just for the miniscule off-chance of scoring from one of these half yearly deals the next time around - grabbing an Airpod Pro at half price doesn't change that fact because I honestly thought that I didn't have much of a chance anyway and it was just sheer dumb luck that I nabbed one.

        12pm : not fast enough to refresh for get buy it now button
        2pm : keep refresh the seller’s item from 1:59 to get buy it now button and clicked it once appear
        Still not fast enough to complete, but at least item on buying page, so can add cc and code
        4pm : start 3:59 keep clicking confirm and pay until go through or at least until 4:02

        That's what happens to me on every second go. Apparently we just weren't quick enough otherwise it would go through. So it's one of two outcomes, you get the item or it leaves the cart. So basically you need to use 2 times to try to get it. If you play fair.
