    Fun

Not my recollection from past ebay plus promos.

I think TA has just abbreviated FrUstratioN.

    • +1

Asking as a noob - What's wrong with them? I assume early sell out?

      • +3

        Spot on

      • +8

eBay deals are like post country Taylor Swift. A complete sell out.

        • I'm surprised you're familiar enough with country Taylor Swift to know the difference.

          • @enzso: In my late 20s and early 30s I discovered country music.

      • +1

        wont last a minute

        • +6

No, you are no where close, won't last seconds

          • @[Deactivated]: No, you are no where close, won't last nano seconds

            • @sajidmib: was waiting the whole time, didnt even end up coping the airpods

      • +3

Imagine 2000 people trying to all buy 9 sets of AirPods.

        • +1

          10 times that

        • Imagine 20000 trying to get one in Click Frenzy Go Nuts!
All thinking they got It only to be disappointed 48 hours later.

    • Agree. Typical eBay Plus sale - heaps of upvotes until the first deal starts. Then the wave of negative comments start. Great prices but there was never going to be enough stock at the advertised prices!

  • +3

    AirPods pro and switch

    • +20

      what about them?

      • +4

Given current conditions, they're the alternative to Netflix and Chill.

        • +6

Not if you still have both your hands

      • you listen to ur music on phone while playing games on switch during commute.

    • +7

Upvoting this for no reason other than that I'm confused about the fact it's on -3

      • +5

Me too. Have an upvote as well!

        • +5

Here you go, an upvote for all 3 of you

    • AirPods pro and switch

      Socks and cabbage.

  • +10

I paid only $129 for the air purifier during last Ebay sale :/

    • How is the air purifier? Not sure if I want to splurge on a Dyson.

      • It is ok, but if you can go for Dyson, go for Dyson

        • +3

          Applies to any Dyson product.

          • +15

@Coude Copon: Not true at all. For instance, in Choices review for vacuums out of the 14 recommended, only 1 of the recommend is Dyson and that is last on the list. Dyson just like other companies, they can produce great and crappy products as well.

              • +21

@STFU: I did, and my next vac won't be Dyson.

                • +3

@plmko: Yeah I have a Dyson vac that's pretty useless

                • @plmko: What will you buy?

                  • +2

@boretentsu: Dyson vacs aren't sucky. I bought a Miele to replace my dyson. It is so much better suckier!

                    • +10

@stinkydog: I changed girlfriends for the same reason

                • @plmko: Agree, best thing I did for the cleanliness of my house was change vacuums. You start to convince yourself that Dyson are the best and you pay good money for them. After lots of research I ended up ditching the Dyson and buying a Sebo K3 with powerhead. The difference is massive.

              • +3

@STFU: Can't stand those Dyson handdryers. They made a decent product annoying.

                • +3

@odysseus: I'm assuming it's not just me who is completely unable to use those airblade dryers without having your hand pushed into the sides?

                  • +1

@callum9999: Yes. The ones where you have to put your hands inside the drier are the worst design ever. Conversely the newer airblade driers are the best design ever.

                • +3

@odysseus: I like my germs blow out everywhere with a fancy ✋ drier

                  • +5

@frewer: Most people wash their hands with soap and water first to get rid of the germs, before using the dryer.

                    • +5

@omblygombly: It doesn't matter if most people wash their hands correctly (and before Covid, I very rarely saw people using soap - I know I didn't very often), if one single person doesn't then it's contaminated.

                    • @omblygombly:

Most people wash their hands with soap and water

True, however I saw a handful of people didnt do that

              • @STFU: You will change to cheap towel if you have Dyson hair dryer and have no hair.

              • @STFU: @Crazybuyer the Dyson is the worst vac we own.

                • @jorf: For stick vac’s they are the best. For corded vacs there are better. I have a dyson v10 absolute and a Miele cat and dog.
The Dyson does most of the jobs I need more frequently. Probably the best investment we made.

          • @Coude Copon: Unless you know better

        • +1

Bought the Dyson Hot & Cool fan during the last sale and definitely not worth the price, don't let the brand name fool you lol.

        • I have a Dyson Stick vac and love it. I've had others in the past and this just seems well made with the ability to take it apart to clean it properly. The extras are a bit overpriced, but I think it's great. Just my opinion.

      • +3

I have a Dyson fan/purifier and wouldn't recommend it. It is way too expensive for what it is. It's loud for the amount of air that it moves and makes noise even when off to keep air flowing through the sensor. I have it in my bedroom and can't sleep with it above speed 2 (out of 10).

I'm going to send it back for a warranty repair as it is becoming noisier over time including when off, but their RMA process needs me to source a box and I don't have one big enough for it to go in right now.

    • inflation hahha

    • Which model was the xiaomi?

      • +1

The model from this eBay round is the 3H. Don't recall ever seen the 3H for $129 it might have been for an older model.

        • $179 at dick smith has been the cheapest

I got lucky with the WH-1000XM3 last uear, but never got anything Airpod related. Then there was the $10 Oil Diffuser.

    https://www.finder.com.au/ebay-plus-month-airpods-deal-june-2020\

"The sales kick off at 10am on Monday 1 June, with the stand-out deal revolving around Apple's highly coveted 2nd Generation AirPods. The in-ear headphones are going for just $99, which is a massive $150 off the regular price.

While we aren't sure just how many units will be up for grabs, we do know that you'll have to be quick if you want to get your hands on a pair. This isn't the first time eBay has dropped AirPods for this price and they're usually an instant sellout.

Other daily deals will see huge savings on other popular items like Apple AirPods Pro (Wednesday 3 June), the Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier (Tuesday 9 June) and the Nintendo Switch Neon with Animal Crossing (Thursday 18 June).

In addition to the exclusive sales, eBay Plus Month will also see members receive 20% off select eBay Plus items (from 15-30 June) and get spend and save offers such as spend $100, save $10; spend $500, save $50 and spend $2,000, save $200 (from 1-14 June).

On top of this, eBay Plus membership will get you free shipping on millions of eligible items, bonus Flybuys points and 5% off every shop at Coles on eBay. You can find out more about eBay Plus membership here."

    • +9

I thought that eBay's partnership with flybuys ended?

      • Yep I think it is outdated.

  • +13

I dont think I can actually be quick enough to cop one.
Will be sold out within 1 second.

    • +1

      Lol its not expansys.com

      • +1

This is worse than expansys. I think 1second was being too optimistic.

  • How much is ebay plus?

    • +27

      Too much

    • +8

They paid me $1 for it, still not sure it's value for effort… they should've paid me at least $5.

    • I just got a free month and $20 ebay voucher yesterday. Must be targeted because ive had free months before. Try logging in on the desktop page.

    • eBay plus was worth it at the start when sellers actually sent everything with tracking details and came relativrly fast.nowadays they are sending it via regular postage with stamps and no tracking which takes forever to arrive…meanwhile no doubt quoting eBay the full $15 for shipping.

    • free for 30 days if you want to make another account

  • +7

Joining comments in anticipation for all the butt-hurt 😉

  • +17

It's so hard to get this deal. Should OZB create a dedicated "Hall of fame" page for those who successfully grab the deal?

  • Out of curisoty, is it going to be one code for all items with only one use on the code?

  • +6

Yay for Last of Us II!

    • +1

Wonder what shipping time is like, not that I'm planing to Day 1 it.

      • +1

I've found small items to be quite punctual. The recipe for disaster for me is when it's a larger item and the assigned courier is StarTrack.

  • -1

Many butts will be hurting that day for missing out on a 99 AirPod deal, inb4 the rage “grabs popcorn”

  • Here comes another click frenzy, or should I say website freezy.
