Quilton 3 Ply Toilet Tissue (180 Sheets Per Roll, 11x10cm), Pack of 36 for $14 @ Coles

830

Haven't been posting deal for a while…

Perfect timing! Have been waiting for this. My Quilton TP is running out and was about to purchase the $10 for 20 rolls at Coles. May not be the lowest price. $14 for 36 rolls is good enough for me with my 2000 flybuys bonus points promo for $60 spend.Cheers!

Edit: Coles extended this special for another week till 30 June 2020.

Looks like Toilet Papers prices are dropping now due to oversupply.

Or rather back to the Pre COVID-19 price.

Also people are not buying anymore because they still using their stash of panic buying supplies. companies rely on a constant flow to be able to manufacture, store and transport their products. now if people don't buy it they need to either find storage or shut down the manufacturing line.

Listen up everybody! This is urgent! Let's all line up at Coles before it opens tomorrow! Buy as much as we possibly can! Trolley load after trolley load. To the car. Back to the store. What could possibly go wrong. Toilet Paper Hoarder II: Electric BOG-a-loo.

  • Last week, my local Coles store had heaps of Quilton TP in 20 rolls pack and none of the 36 rolls. Won't be surprised that this may go quickly. Then I would either go for the 20 rolls pack or ask for a rain check if they allow.

I went in to my local Coles today and every part of the TP aisle was stacked of all kinds of brands, 4 or 5 end caps were stacked and another 3 pallets full of Quilton 36 were off to the side. It'll be awhile before they sell it all I reckon!

  • So, just under 22 cents per 100 sheets innit?

  • +5

OzBargainers prefer price per 100 sheets please OP.
    ($0.216 per 100 sheets).

    • That's also how they're displayed in supermarkets for unit pricing.

  • Bought for the same price from Costco the other day, wondering is it really worth paying $60 for Costco membership?

    • Even if you don't shop at Costco that often, it's worth it for just the fuel, usually at least 20c cheaper than others; just say you fill up petrol at Costco once a fortnight, membership pretty much pays for itself.

      • Guess you dont have the 7-Eleven Chopper.

      • what if you live no where near a costco which has a petrol station

  • Does Amazon price match?

    • +2

      I'd expect so.

    • The Amazon price hasn't matched yet, but their price is slightly lower than the usual price ($2-$2.50 depending on the pack).

  • +3

I'm getting misty eyed for when there were shortages and you couldn't find two sheets to rub together

  • I paid $16 on Amazon. I'd pay $2 extra to not have to cart the thing around myself. Plus can always use some more big Amazon boxes.

  • Not a bad price, the standard Aldi big roll price is $8 for 24 which works out similar or slightly better, but quilton is good

  • How does this compare with Woolies' branded one?

      • Oh yeah, my bad. Maybe only here in QLD: "Quilton 3 Ply White Toilet Paper 36 pack is not available in your location"

        • I got mine in QLD this weekend

          • @knobbs: Still shows unavailable online. Have you bought it in store?

            • @ozyack: Yep bought in-store. Was at Fairfield

              • @knobbs: OK then, I stand corrected as "Not available online".
