  • does it support a 32inch lg monitor?

    • +2

      Is it an ultrawide?

If so, and it's under 9KG, you should be fine.

    • It says fits up to 30 inch

      • That's for non-ultrawide, and the size doesn't really matter as much as the weight.

        • +13

The thing to watch out for is being able to rotate the screen which is admittedly unlikely with Ultra-Wide screens, but we need to point it out.
If the VESA fits and the weight is under 9kg, should be fine with that qualification.

    • +1

Yes. I have a 32in monitor on mine with no issues.

  • Also says Free Delivery for tomorrow. I'll see if it actually arrives tomorrow.

    • mine came the next day when ordering from amazon.

      • But did you order during covid?

        • few weeks back

    • Helps if you're in the same state as the warehouse otherwise you could be waiting.

      • Yeah the warehouse is a 21 minute drive from my place.

  • +5

clamping adjustment on this updated version is so much better than the older one.
    Doesn't require Allen key anymore.

Two single arms are better than a double in my opinion as you have much more flexibility in screen placement.

    • +1

I have a double and am replacing it with two singles. More options to move them and have different monitors.

    • +1

I wish i knew this before i got the previous bunnings double mount deal..

  • +2

Oooh this stand desk monitor arm looks interesting

    • +1

      it's a snack bay!

does this support LG 34 Ultrawide ?

    • If it's under 9KG, you should be fine.

  • Up to 30inch… so still doesn’t support dell 34inch ultrawide?

    • It does if under 9kg

      • The thing to watch out for is being able to rotate the screen which is admittedly unlikely with Ultra-Wide screens, but we need to point it out.
If the VESA fits and the weight is under 9kg, should be fine with that qualification.

        • the weight of dell d3415 is 8.44kg (panel only), which is close to the 9kg limit. is it ok?

    • dimensions of the screen don't matter as long as it isn't too chonky. This could support a 55" tv as long as the weight is less than the max it can take.

    • I find that the inches for these monitor arms are based on 16:9 ratio monitors. Ultrawides aren't as tall, so they still work, at least for every monitor arm I've used.

  • +1

Is there an arm that is extra long, so I can float a monitor above my other two monitors on their own dual gas arm?

    • +3

For even longer arms you need to go up to the F100A which is also on special right now.Was $87.95, but right now, $79.16 on Amazon FBA.

      • Any chance it'll be on sale next week after I get paid?

      • I also want to put one monitor on top of another - so the height going up is important.

Is the F100A better or the H80 that you mention in a later post?

Also, if I get the H80, can I add an extra arm in the future or do I need to get the H160 from the start?

Any update on when the H80/H160 will be available and pricing? Thanks!

  • Is this a sale price or an advertising price?

    • +1

EOFY Sale, delayed because of a screw up with the ASIN codes on the new units. Just fixed this morning.

  • +3

Have my 34inch kogan ultrawide on it atm, not able to get it high enough for rotation which isn't an issue for me.

The back needs a bit of room to fit the clasping mechanism, had to doctor the cable holder on my IKEA malm desk to be able to mount the arm, but definitely worth it at this price, would recommend.

    • -1

I don't see a problem with your comment. Would the person ngged this care to explain why?

  • Is there an option of getting a clamp style base instead, as in a extra part I can get?, as I cant drill into my desk (staying in hostel).

    • +10

The NEW F80 includes both the new quick adjusting clamp system and the grommet mounting option in the box.

$44 delivered on eBay for those who prefer

    • +1

Champ, bought two, got a further discount applied paid just under 79 with delivery and none of this prime crap.

  • Will you be stocking the White F100A mount at all?

  • We have the new model in F100A and F195A in White finally on their way after a long production delay from the manufacturer who prioritised Black Unit production with the new model with 12kg capacity.
Due to arrive at the end of this month - 29th.

    • Hi OP, will the F195A go on sale when it is in stock?

    • Hi, any update on the white F100A?

  • Any sales for f160s?

    • Yes, but the issue has been that the manufacturer has updated the UPC code on the new model with 9kg arm capacity and it has screwed up the Amazon listing. Now they are in the Fulfilment Centre waiting to be re-stickered. I don't have a final ETA, but soon hopefully.

  • Anyone who has one of these can you measure what the highest it can go to the middle of the vesa mount?

    Hoping for higher then 450mm

    • +1

I purchased 2 of these mounts when they where on sale last time. The height from the desk surface to the middle of the Vesa is 400mm.

  • I see that the product is priced one dollar below the free shipping offer. Well played, vendor, well played.

    • +4

I don't think the vendor benefits from that,

It would be amazon as they cover the free shipment?

Also you can literally just add something to make it over 39$

My recomendations are: BBQ shapes https://www.amazon.com.au/Arnotts-Shapes-Original-Barbecue-B…

      • -1

The word "literally" is redundant in your sentence as it is impossible to figuratively add something to my order.

    • +2

Maybe ask the vendor for a coupon code to increase the price to $39 for you.

      • +1

Or buy a packet of something from amazon groceries. (prob a packet of chips)

    • +3

Sorry about that, but not our call. Amazon sets rates to get on the Deal Lists and this is just where this product went for this DOTD.

    • $1 cheaper better than $1 extra!

  • +2

Hey Op, I have my desk pressed up against the wall with maybe a 1 inch gap. Can the arm be pushed to the right or left hand side with the screen almost touching the wall or does it need space to go straight behind?

Not sure if that explanation helps much, but it seems you can swivel the arm at each joint so should be possible.

    Thanks!

    • I have the same question!

    • +4

I just got this monitor arm last night and yes it does, the monitor can be really close to the wall, but the only thing that if your anchor point is in the middle, the monitor will become less centered, around maybe 10cm to 20cm to the left or right. So if you need it the monitor close to the wall, the clamp or anchor point need to be 10 to 20 cm from the middle of you. Hope my explanation helps.

      • So not for the OCD… It sounds fine to me, thanks for your input Redzel.

        • +2

Imagine the display completely turned towards you in this picture. That't how it would when both the mount point and monitor are close to the wall.

  • +2

Is this the same arm as here? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/542617 Looks like it as that one was also rated to 9kg per the FAQs and what arrived for others.

  • I ordered this one earlier in the week and just got it yesterday https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B01AI2YGK4, the box says 17-30" monitor and 2-9kg, is that this model?

    • +1

Yes. We had stock to ship but Amazon did not so we left our product running for a few days.

  • My screen is about 11kg, could the arm be locked (tightened) to prevent sagging?

    • +1

I would look at different one that support that weight, if it too heavy it may work for first few week/months but will slowly sag.

    • I put a 7.7kg monitor on an F160 rated at 6.5kg per arm and it sagged no matter what I did, so I'd say no.

      • Is there a tension adjustment on that model?

    • F100 is rated to 12kg

      • Link? I found F100A and it's rated to 9.8KG

        • +1

You're right the specs on the site do not reflect what's printed on the F100A box or arm itself.

I purchased two of the F100A from ScreenMountsAU this month, both box and mount indicate "weight support: 3-12kg".

If you google other sellers they also show 3-12kg.

          • @242gtr: Might give it a go then, thanks!

    • What monitor do you have that is this heavy? Are you sure that isn’t the monitor + stand weight?

  • Does the new f80 come in white?

  • Thanks, just ordered to mount my Samsung LC34H892WGEXXY 34" Ultra Wide. I won't be rotating so should be fine. :)

    • I have the same monitor. Based on comments below, It doesnt appear to fit a curve screen…

      • +1

Worth a shot, I'll post back when I receive it.

      • FYI it fits mine just fine. The vesa mount on the monitor side of this monitor isn't curved, it's flat. It also supports the weight fine. It's too wide for portrait, but I'll be only using it in landscape anyway.

        • Thanks for the update, really appreciate it. Do you think the stand is mountable on a glass desk? I couldnt get pics showing how the mounting actually looks and sits on a desk, or how thick the mounting plate is (the part that sits in the desk)

  • Was holding out for this to go on sale again, thanks OP! :D

  • OP, does this fit 43"? 7.5kg. thx.

    • How tall is your monitor? What model is it? This measures 415mm to the centre of the Vesa.

    • The VESA mount holes on the back are probably 200x100 or 400x200 which wouldn't fit on this mount.

    • Tcl 43p8m

Height is 564mm and vesa 100x100mm. So reckon it will fit then!

      Thanks!

      • Oh, lucky! Large screens usually use a wider spacing to spread the load. I guess newer TVs are much lighter than they used to be. 7.5kg is really light for a 43".

  • Anyone have one of these? Thinking of getting one for my 34" ultrawide, but worried it might wobble more than the stock stand.

  • YAassss

was waiting for this as I missed the other deal.

    Bought 2 thanks OP!!

  • Does this work on monitors with a recessed mounting area?

    EG https://pcmonitors.info/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/S2740L-VE…

    • It does but for some of them we have found it to be a bit tight and they adjusted the VESA mount half a mm. I've mentioned this to the manufacturer.

      • Thanks for the reply - Sorry, who adjusted the vesa mount? Has this new model been changed?
I see a lot of reviews where the mounting plate is off a few mm and people had to grind down their mount or mod their monitor to fit in a recessed vesa mount

        • +1

Yes, that is the issue I was reffering to. The new model was a completely new version with longer arm, stronger gas spring and new VESA mount + Head.

  • Cashback list is too long and complicated. Can anyone let me know which one has the highest rate? CR or SB?

    • +5

      Both 0%

  • +1

Of course this comes just after I got the older model for the same price.

    • +1

Sorry, but that is always going to happen as we sell so many so often and we have to make the change at some point. If you bought through Amazon, I have seen some partial refunds come through done by Customer Support if you want to try that option. I hope this helps.

    • If you bought the cheap price on Amazon relatively recently, and sold by screen mounts it would automatically be the new version.

  • need an arm that supports an ultra-wide 49"
without the leg it weighs around 12kg.

    what would you recommend?

    • +1

I would recommend keeping the stand.

The weakest part of these monitor mount is the neck joint (right behind the vesa fitting) which, if the monitor is too heavy, may sag over time.
