  • Can’t even check the prices….

  • Oh look, Perth to nowhere

    • Ohh look. The government still has its state shut. Read the media release and you'll see that they will put sale fares on when they decide to let people in.

      • +1

oh,.. you mean like queensland still shut?

And… you know people fly within WA too? normally a $700 flight rtn to karratha…

$19 would be good for that…

      • double up

    • $19??

Yep. Avalon to GC then GC to Tullamarine. Not sure how that's going to go but oh well. Lol

Anyone else notice the extra baggage is $10 more from GC to Melbourne than it is from Avalon to GC?

        • +4

Ah well, while everyone was here(JetStar), I got a pressure cooker on EBay for $29

  • "We have a lot of people trying to contact us at the moment, and our systems are very busy. Please be patient." Is it actually loading or is that a timeout page?

  • Slow but got in! Bought cheap departing tix but return was more expensive. Still a great deal.

  • Just tried again and can confirm now you get a gateway timeout.

    • I am now getting some message ("it looks like everyone wants to go on vacation!") translated into 5 languages and a picture of a cat on vacation

If they have time to do this, they have time to fix the website

  • Ahhhh, An hour on 3 computers and by the time I could even see the dates, all gone for the whole month of oct. Tried another destination and the same. Bahh!

I'm negging as this is not the time we should be travelling on flights. We are so close to stomping COVID19 out. Lets get that done first and then we can all enjoy air travel again.

    Guys, just keep trying.

I have been trying for the last 1.5 hours, and finally I got to page "gateway not available". So there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

  • Sucks if you live in Tasmania or need to travel there.

    • Yer well, blame their government.

  • Dunno what everyone’s complaining about

I launched ddos attack to jam everyone except me

I got thru and booked in 20 seconds

  • lets go to DARWIN and warm up :)

  • Waiting an hour for my Bris - Townsville flight to load, I tied for Bris- WhitSundays and it opened up immediately. Got $45 each way.

  • Site seems to be better now - I got $19 one way. Frustrating given that I got through to the payment page twice (at $19 each way) before being booted back to the homepage, but good enough. So keep trying guys.

Snagged Sunshine coast to Sydney 12/7 , Sydney to Brisbane 21/7 for family of four, $153 total, AWESOME!

  • Jetstar's website is a junk. It timed out many times, once it crashed just before the payment and now the $19 flights are mostly gone. Thanks, but no.

  • Any $19 flights during school holidays Sydney to Cairns? I feel teachers are discriminated against again.

  • Took a lot of patience, managed to get some Sydney to Adelaide return tickets for $39pp at the tail end of the sale period. Thanks!!

  • Snapped up 3 return tickets BNE-PPP for a family of three for $270 an hour ago. Good deal. At the moment, the fare is $600-ish.

  • Bugger, missed the Cairns ones :(

    • +1

got the $79 ones instead, $158 return to Cairns is good in my books :D

  • Good offers….if you can get a fare.

"Sorry, the fare you have requested has sold out. Please start your search again and select a different fare."

    Bad user experience though Jetstar….

  • Been waiting for 2.5 hours now 🤨🤨🤨

Managed to get Melbourne Tulla - Gold Coast for $19 in the middle of September which isn't even listed as part of the sale…. Maybe try dates outside the listed specials as well.

JUST got $$178 ADL to darwin rtn yipee

Kept trying and got $40 to SYD to CARINS return. Sweet

    • wow lucky. enjoy the warm weather. finger's crossed the border is open on the 10th as planned.

  • Nothing is available (from SYD) … what a useless sale

  • Can't seem to find $19 flights!

  • Return from Cairns to Melbourne is cheaper than yesterday. Down from $139 to $79. That's a saving of $60, biggest drop in the past few months. My flight up was $199 but it is during the school holidays so normally more expensive.
If the border is not open then it's free to change the dates once, so I am happy. At least there's a chance of warm weather, and I need a break.

  • Slow, but got there in the end. Return tix from Sydney - Townsville, 19 each way!

  • +1

    No $19 fares left…

  • :) Husband managed to secure $19 flights to cairns thanks to this deal

  • Keep getting "Internal error" When selecting flights

  • What happens now to Victorians who bought tickets to Queensland?

  • My Melbourne to QLD flights were cancelled this evening. Email from Jetstar offers a credit voucher. I’d much prefer to be rebooked as I doubt they’ll offer $19 flights again anytime soon. I’ll post back what they say.

    • This is an issue the ACCC needs to crack down on. Other countries globally are under fairly strict orders from regulators in regards to refunds.

The ACCC has clamped down on some retailers recently but not airlines.

That should be a refund end of story.

      • +2

Although they did not offer a refund in the cancellation email, they offered me a refund when I contacted them directly.

    • I had my Darwin flights cancelled a couple of days ago and only offered a refund or credit via the email notification. I got onto chat and asked if they could reschedule my flights without a change fee or fare difference and they said yes. My tickets were night flights paid $178 rtrn and were rescheduled to closest day flights valued at $900 rtn. No fees or charges. You have to ask!
