My Child passport expired. Can I buy the ticket first and get the passport after?

    • +1

      yes

    • +1

i'm pretty sure you can update the passport details at later date.

    • no, that's illegal, stop committing crimes. jk, yes you can do it later.

    • +1

The only thing you need is to make sure the name in the new passport will be the same as on the ticket.

  • With these can you stop over at Singapore for a night or two for signtseeting?

    • night or two for signtseeting

Probably a bit dark for seeing things at night. Maybe a day or two would be better.

      • I'm sure they have street lights on at night, if not I'm sure I see a deal on here for a head light.

      • +3

Geylang has plenty to see at night

    • +1

yes you have to book direct

The price of the fare likely will increase as you will be paying taxes / fees if you stopover.

      • +1

and the exorbitant hotel prices in Singapore will probably cost more than your airfare

        • Short trip into Malaysia fixes that

    anything for Malaysia via singapore?

  • +1

Can't find anything in October or November from Melbourne?!

  • My guess is they've added additional capacity, as some other flights for the same day range going to Taipei, even with Scoot on one of the legs are more expensive.

  • +1

Disappointing to be honest, even though it says Singapore Airlines each departure leg starts off with Scoot - so the prices are not inclusive of Checked Baggage which adds around $250-300.

By the time you actually filter only Singapore Airlines the fares start to resemble what you'd be quoted for from the official Singapore Airlines website: $1100 - $1500, in the off-season.

    These prices are getting insane.
