Even prices in asia which were $890 aud each have dropped to near retail prices again. Scalpers can barely break even now due to the costs of postage. So the prices should continue to drop providing production chains dont get disrupted.

Mate that's a crazy good deal! The good thing is the switch does hold it's value pretty well (I'm not talking about crazy jacked up covid time prices).
Not a good deal, even if you're not eBayPlus member, you can pay the $49 fee and buy on their eBay store for cheaper
I signed up with a free trial, if you've already used it try a family member's to save that $49.

The negs are actually quite helpful in quickly alerting potential buyers that cheaper deals exist. The negs are a lot more obvious than having to wade through comments suggesting cheaper deals.
