      Sounds expensive

      • Yeah, Finish are not premium performance, so to release a much more expensive product (and I've found regular quantum harder to get & especially on sale - albeit not being on sale might be bad luck) is really arsey

  • Pretty sure I bought 240 for 40$ on Catch…?

  • what's a price per tablet you are happy with ? (we're almost out of these and thinking now is the time to purchase again)

    • 25c, on catch normal price would be around 30c when they have free shipping deal.

You may be able to buy Finish Powerball 0% phosphate or other variety of Finish Max /Quantum on that price on deals. Finish powerball Quantum Pro is latest from Finish and currently sold as $39 RRP or $26 on special.

I look for <20c/tab. Sometimes finish quantum tabs go on sale for around 17-20c ea. Aldi ones are 17c I think and are rated well.

      • Been buying COTD and eBay tablets for years but tried Aldi ones which were as cheap and cheaper in a lot of cases and…
they work fine, I can't see any difference same goes for their rinse aid.

        • I got the Aldi Logix 10in1 tablets a few weeks ago, used about half of it, thought the issue would go away. But had to return the tablets.

Kept leaving Blue powder residue from the blue side of the tablet in the machine. I use a Fisher & Paykel 2 draw Dishwasher.

Luckily got a great discount on Ecostore Dishwashing Powder (51wash) which has been great in my machine, never leaves residue and cleans very well with no nasties. Got it at Woolies when they did a 16% off ($9 down to $7.50), then i had a 10% off discount via woolworths rewards, and then i got an additional 5% off via wish giftcards. Came down to $6.41. Which equates to 0.13c per wash.

After doing some research, i stopped using tablets as usually they pack way too much powder compared to the amount that you REALLY need. Most dishwashing repair men won't recommend them because they end up cleaning out the pipes of excess dishwashing powder after awhile.

          • @lplau: and to add sand like particles

          • @lplau: It's sort of the same with laundry powder. People use to much. My washing machine mechanic recommends running your washing machine on an empty full hot cycle once every two months to clean off excess detergents. The detergent reside will deteriorate the machine over time. The mechanic was Miele trained and worked for Miele in Germany for 15 years

  • I used to think the red ball was magic when I was a kid. The ads made it seem like cutting edge technology.

    • +1

Yup the red ball is a quantum computer where it knows exactly which dishes are more dirty to target and clean thoroughly.

  • This was $16 per one in Coles yesterday
