[Club Catch] Panasonic Eneloop Rechargeable AAA Batteries 4-Pack $10 (1 Per Customer) + Delivery/ Free Shipping over $45 @ Catch

200

Never thought I'd be posting an Eneloop deal. That name is of legendary level in here. (For a second I was looking for "Eneloop" in the Category drop-down menu…)

The price is pretty good, but the catch isn't =P

This deal is only available to Club Catch members (a bit steep at $6.50/month, I've only found it to be worthwhile if you're already buying from Catch and it'll cost less than normal shipping), and free shipping only available if you spend >$45. While a bit niche, but good for those already planning to get something from Catch and spending >$35 to have it as add on. Also good for those who bought discounted Catch GCs from previous deals.

Also a limit of 1 unit per customer. But oh, these are from Japan actually.

Wow that membership fee is a bit rich. Even my Amazon Prime is less than that and offers way more value.

On a side note: good to see Eneloop being made in Japan again

Also, can anyone recommend a good charger, I have a La Crosse BC700 which is awesome but I have so many Eneloops now that charging (and particularly refreshing) 4 at a time is painful. Would need one comparable to the La Crosse.

It was like raiders of the lost cart

  • You can put in multiple orders if you want more than one pack.

Just wasted my club catch free trial to try get this and then noticed postage still needs to be paid

    • +2

you can pickup from target and charges 3.47 for pickup - so $13.47 for 4 x AAAs is a good deal

I noticed that last night but was so dissapointed I didn't bother. After revisiting I went ahead with Target pickup

      Ew!

  • Hope someone can help! the way i understood is these batteries comes charged already and can use them straight away and once the battery is drained, put those battery under sun for few hours or even day to charge the battery and use them again!

    Am I understanding this right?

    • +1

Serious? No. You need a charger.

    • Yes they come charged (to 80% of capacity from memory). Stick 'em in the sun to recharge????? Aw c'mon you're having a lend….but just in case….no you need a charger.

    • Down voters clearly don't understand sarcasm.

    • You can get a nylon shirt and rub the outside of the battery for five minutes, that works too 👌

    • +1

sticking them in a lemon works too

  • Can't recommend MIC Eneloop, just not the same as MIJ quality. Better buy the MIJ Ladda

    • These are made in Japan

      • Interesting, didnt know the non-pro one moved back to MIJ

        • I am glad that they did as the Chinese ones never lived up to the original MIJ quality.
You'd reckon Japanese quality control would eventually correct any differences but they never got there

  • Anyone with experience know the best price for 1 AA and 1 AAA Eneloops before deliver?

    $2 each… $2.5 each etc

    • +1

I believe it was under $2 last year.

  • Just checking, are the LADDA AAA batteries from Ikea comparable to these?

    • The LADDA batteries from IKEA are generally considered to be the same as Eneloop Pro

      • how much?

        • What do you mean?

          • @zrmx: how much do the LADDAs cost?

            • @Poor Ass: IKEA will gladly tell you =)
              https://www.ikea.com/au/en/

              • @zrmx: too bad doesn't say where it's made

                • +1

@Poor Ass: did a search up top, good price seems to be about $5 for a pack of 4? Buy white not brown. Pack itself will say either made in Japan or China, buy the Japanese ones

                  • @sakurakiks: $5 for 4…. no way

                    • @Poor Ass: It was that price in the first two posts, I dunno lol. I just looked through the comment threads and that^ was a tldr from what I read, someone feel free to correct me.

I suppose that's why people buy ladda now? comparable/exactly the same quality/just rebranded eneloop pros, for half the price.

I'm still waiting till it goes on sale again, but worth trying out I reckon!
