Greetings everyone, I spotted Apple cashback coming up over in TA's $5 Cashback Deal and sent over a message to TA to ask what the promo is and he told me it's back to 7% from midday today, which is awesome! As noted, can also stack with the $5 cashback offer for further savings :)

Another great increase for Apple, and an awesome addition with the inclusion of the education store for further discounts.

Even better from the last deal is that the iPhone SE 2 and New MacBook Air are both included!

    I don't recommend anyone to get the 16" macbook pro if they plan on travelling around with it. Such a massive device and uncomfortable to use on the go. The weight is pretty low, though.

    So what happens if you cant verify that you're a student?
    Is the order cancelled or do you pay the full non-student price?

      I placed an order last week on Apple Edu. Was not requested to confirm that I was a student (I could have if required, though). Not sure if Apple just gets more suspicious or particular about checking during offers like this though. Should also point out that I've purchased many apple products before (EDU and non-EDU) using the same Apple ID. Could be that they don't check unless new account or something - IDK.

      Thinking about placing a new order for the better CR % but will then be waiting two weeks for a CTO build to be sent from China. :(

        Is it just the CTO builds that are sent from China?

        The base models are all local stock already in the country right?

          To my knowledge, yes, only CTO builds are from China. You can see this on their website. The base builds all say "1-3 business days" or that pickup is available. The CTO orders say "Pickup not available" and give you a shipping window two weeks out. YMMV but my order came on the Sunday before the window they gave me commenced (so a week after ordering).

    I just followed instructions in a private tab with cashrewards plugin activated.
    Clicked new tabs from ozbargain to cashrewards to apple edu store, bought macbook air.
    Then when went back to the cashrewards tab I was logged out. Clicked log in and it logged me in automatically.
    Is this still gonna track? I'm a bit freaked I've lost it, so can anyone confirm panicking is justified?

      Sounds like you did something wrong here. When you first clicked through from Cashrewards, you should have already been logged in and completed your purchase. Not sure why you’re stating you opened new tabs, which is a no no.

    Just bought myself a new iPhone SE with 7% cashback.
    Timely replacement for my very old iPhone 5S.

    As of 14 minutes ago, cashback dropped to 6%.
    When it says 'Activation is valid for 1 transaction only', does the new deal/rate of 6% allow for another transaction?

    Just ordered an iPad Pro but they don't ship till the end of July due to low stock, guessing I wont get confirmation from Cash rewards until then?

      By the way I've always had terrible luck with CashRewards tracking successfully it when it does it usually gets rejected for god knows why which is why I switched to Shopback and never had a problem since. Hopefully Cashrewards doesn't let me down this time around

        You have to add it to your cart and then it will tell you at checkout so for me it said "Ships: 2-3 weeks, Delivers: 15/07/2020 - 22/07/2020 by Standard Shipping"

    I ordered two items (iPad Pro 12.9 and Magic Keyboard) in the one order with both items scheduled to ship 3 weeks after the order date. Now I just received CashRewards tracking confirmation for the Magic Keyboard as that was just delivered but still haven't received CashRewards tracking confirmation for the iPad Pro which I received shipping confirmation a few days ago from Apple. Has anyone else had this issue? Had a feeling something would go wrong with CashRewards
