  • not a bad price, but i'd recommend the hf5's or er4p's as a higher and better model. but the isolation of this range is among the best, mainly because of the tri flange tips. i used er4p's for a while but lost them and replaced them with hf5's and barely notice the difference. however, these are a good buy, considering the prices of their range have increased a lot recently (nearly doubled).

hf2 is identical to the hf5 except with mic and remote.

Unfortunately the ER4P/S are close to $300 which isn't really worthwhile.

      • didnt think they were from memory.

er4p/s used to be less than $200, think i paid $180, but they've been even lower. i dont check amazon though. they've been this outrageous for a while now and i dont see it reverting back anytime soon either.

        • dude where u got ur er4 from?

  • pay 80+ more, get the er4p/s/b, last time i checked amazon had them for $210.
these hf2/3/5 are designed for iphone, trust me you don't want to waste 120 bucks on em

  • These for iPhone only?

    • +1

Excuse stupidity, (there are some headphones with controls that are purely for one device I believe. eg. Ipod Shuffle with out buttons.)

Read a few reviews, all were saying designed for iphone, and it has controls, not sure if controls are universal.

      • +1

I believe most people using this headphones aren't going to be using it on phones, rather FLAC compatible cowan players

      • It will work on everything but controls are "Compatible with Blackberry and Android as well as iPhone, iPad, and More"

  • how do these compare to the Er6i's?

    • They're pretty much universally regarded as possessing better sound quality.
