  • Bummer, paid 47.96$ + delivery last week 😞

  • Find your phone by pressing the button on a tile is crap and unreliable… Unless you physically stick a tile to it (and find your phone from another phone!) I.e. junk

    • A service like that would usually need more than the usual of permission sets, and certainly nothing could beat the default options like Google device manager, apple find my phone or samsung's own.

      • Totally agree, I thought the product would've worked with Apple/Google for this function to work, it makes complete sense. But alas they have not and it's a pos 😂

  • wait… Pager?

  • I’ll lost my wallet at a shopping centre recently. Could I slip one of these into it in case I lose it again? So it’ll remember where the last signal was/where I dropped it?
I might even put a couple in my work bags to know where the last place they were are.
    Tax deduction! Yay!

  • It doesn't look like the Tile Mate 4 pack are the 2020 version (happy to be corrected). The single pack Tile Mate (2020) is on sale for $29.96 though https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/tile-mate-bluetooth-track...

Tile Mate (2018) 4 pack has been cheaper before https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/540284

    • You are right. The Tile Mate 4 Pack is the 2018 version. Also, the Tile Mate Pro is the 2019 version, not the 2020 one.

      I've fixed the deal now.

In case anyone is interested the main difference between the different versions of the tiles is the range:

      Tile Mate Tile Mate Pro
      2018 150' (46m) -
      2019 - 300' (91m)
      2020 200' (61m) 400' (122m)
  • That is last years model, it's not 2020

  • Why not use google find my phone? Turns it off silent and rings and even shows it on a gps if you left it in the car or at someones house

    • I hot glued gun a tile to a magnet, stuck this tile to the fridge, binded the tile to a mobile.

The idea is when you can't find your phone you press the tile and it makes your phone beep.

Well it doesn't work, so I still have to resort to finding another device, logging into the appropriate account, passing 2fa, and locating it.

Finding an old device doesnt work very well when the battery is crap.

I've resorted to just sticking one on a tv remote, quite useless tbh.

Gimmick product, tbh I can't think of any other applications for my household!

      • If you have Google Home, I find it much easier to just ask 'Where's my phone' and it rings!
        (ingenious tile/fridge method though!!)

        • Nice tip! Can you do this with multiple accounts?

          • @Kammi: I'm not sure!
I think if you have voice match setup it may work, if you have more than 1 device it asks which one, but unsure if this extends to devices linked to other accounts

  • Anyone know what type of battery is?

  • OW - price beaten (5%) to $60.76.

    Difference - $3.20

    But limited stock. Good luck
