Xenoblade Definitive Edition comes to $63.71
Post any other good items you see but 5,290 is too much for one man

Sorry for my poor post, I'm still learning :(

Better link to search for items in store:

    • thank you, I will update with this :)

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition comes to $63.71 shipped, which is a couple of dollars less than Amazon ($67).

Bonus points, for supporting an Australian business in Gamesmen rather than Amazon who doesn't treat their employees well.

I also noticed Paper Mario is the same price so might be cheapest around atm.

  • Actually, I don't think it is just theGamesMan, it is "top tech range": https://www.ebay.com.au/e/coupon-offers/15-off-tech-sales-ju...

    • Beat me by 5sec :-)

  • Isnt this a code for eligible items at multiple sellers not strictly limited to the gamesmen though?

    https://pages.ebay.com.au/Buyer_coupons/p15light/

    • is it only with eBay plus? If so i should probably update it.

      • As mentioned here . No eBay plus required this time, but if you're an eBay Plus member it gets upgraded to express delivery for free.

PS4 Pro including postage comes out to be $488.71. Not bad considering Covid prices and the latest model with quieter fan.

    • Yep aim for the 7202B model if looking for a Pro.

Added some deal examples for the people too busy to search for deals.

  • The Samsung EPP store has the Galaxy Tab A 2019 back in stock (or did have two days ago, haven't checked today). With the $50 voucher it was $232.

  • Need a printer… can't seem to find one with this code! lol

Pfft - as usual, 'eligible items' seems to exclude everything I'm looking for.

There hasn't been a same on Chromecast Ultra or office 365 for months - EOFY was a huge disappointment.

  • Damn I thought titan gear does free shipping , wanted them aoc monitor but it charged me shipping

  • Brings the QC35 down to around $330, cheapest yet for a while. Hopefully Amazon follows suit…

  • Edit: Nevermind - sorted.

Sure, jack up the price for a Switch Lite to $340.

Even with 15% off, it's only $10 cheaper than your normal discounted price of $299.
No thanks, I would rather pay $10 more than to support such shady practice.

At a time like this that extra $10 would help keep people in their jobs.

    • +6

They didn't jack the price up, the price is always $340.95 on their eBay store ($329.95 + $11 Delivery added in). Just because other stores have it listed for $299 doesn't mean they have to.

        This. Well-said.

If you buy from their own website you have to pay postage on top. If you buy from their store up in Penshurst you have to pay to get to/from there.

I don't expect any small retailer to cannibalise their core business for a few bargain hunters on eBay. Sorry folks - truth hurts sometimes.

This a partnered promotion with eBay and they are passing-on the full discount based on their normal prices. eBay is eating some cut in revenue and so is The Gamesmen.

Please tell me anywhere right now where you can buy a locally-sourced Switch Lite for $289 delivered?

I suspect someone has already screenshot your comment for /r/choosingbeggars

      • isn't ebay Plus meant to be free shipping?

So why are they adding the cost of shipping into the item price and pretending to have free shipping?

        • No, eBay doesn't reimburse any shipping costs anymore for eBay Plus (except for some big sellers such as Big W and Bing Lee). The seller now has to include shipping costs (to make it "free shipping") which were previously covered to keep their eBay plus badge. They changed the model to now provide a free express post upgrade for some items, rather than cover the standard shipping cost.

Computer Alliance is another good example of this (they increase everything by $15 to cover shipping).

If a seller adds any shipping cost and doesn't have an agreement with eBay, they don't get the eBay plus badge on that item.

          • +1

@doweyy: So eBay Plus = eBay membership fee Plus shipping?

          • +2

@doweyy: Sounds like eBay plus is no longer worth it!

    • +1

Gamesmen are selling at RRP $329 + postage inbuilt = $340. Nothing special even with the 15% discount. They should not put the postage cost in the item price so they can advertise “free post”. Especially since eBay plus would cover the postage cost

      • This.

It's not free shipping if they add it into the item price - especially for ebayPlus - unless the free express post is now the new ebayplus norm

Personally I would not look a horse gift in the mouth. It is the final net $ figure that I care about not the % amount. I'd say it is mostly EBay's doing. Guessing from previous comments on OB, EBay would ask sellers to participate in the 15% promotion but the sellers must put in 10% and EBay 5% say, so of course the sellers have to ensure their sale prices can support their margins to keep their business viable…

    • why would a box be open but not used and still be as new?

      • That’s what I was wondering. Big discount to standard pricing, but not sure about the condition. Anyone order one before and can comment?

  • Seems like everything Gamesmen is jacked

  • Snagged a 128gb iphone SE for $720 (with cash rewards), thanks.

    • Do note that usage of P15LIGHT or any other eBay coupons means you don't get cashback.

      • Eh, it’s only $20

  • Ebay sale is a joke. The shops jacks up price so much even apply 15% off the things are still expensive.

    • +1

      agree

ACCC needs to fined them like what they did with this seller..
is there any difference between what ebay + sellers are doing and this seller

      https://www.accc.gov.au/media-release/kogan-in-court-for-all...

The only big difference is ebay does the discount and is just a marketplace (not seller and discounter)
and the actual seller does the price jacking
But behind closed doors, they are in on it together since ebay probably said something like we give half and you give half the discount etc..so the seller jacks it up to cover their end
