          Everyone was being pushed to move back towards normal and open up. Don't you remember how much flack QLD was getting for not opening up to NSW and VIC? Not saying there isn't a systemic problem, just that they're all incompetent.

          To be fair, no learning experiences in living memory, so it only makes sense that they aren't competent, I just wish they would be a bit more open about how they are making decisions for risk minimisation.

            @futureminime: We're talking about the disgraceful failures of the VIC quarantine system. Basic mask and glove protocols, man your posting and follow the policy whether its security or accommodation staff. It's not rocket science and the reports of whats been going on are shockingly inept.

        I'm very skeptical it was just one security guard. Keep in mind there are two hotels with quarantine failures (at least). As someone said, if it was one security guard, who transferred between hotels sleeping with guests at each - the teleseries practically writes itself.

        NZ PM suggested that today, that until VIC really gets sorted out, between states and NZ might come first. Tasmania perhaps?
