THE BEST accessory you'll ever buy for your Wii.

  • Has anyone else thought about or tried using one of these as a mousepad, and put the respective battery in the wireless mouse?

    • No. A mouse can go for months on a single AA. Unless it uses Bluetooth.

      • My wireless mouse (g700) uses a rechargeable AA battery (eneloop) just about every day.

        • Yeah, same here.

It's because it polls at 1000hz even over WiFi, and doesn't pull any stops.

It's the only wireless mouse I would ever dare use for gaming.

      • A basic mouse yeah.

    • The battery is sealed into a battery-cover that fits the rear of the Wii remote. No way it's suitable for any other purpose.

      • Yeah thought it might be.

  • is this store specific?

It is store specific yeah. I think each store is a separate franchise.
      - I called up Dandenong and they sold them out since June.
      - Chadstone only has the quad induction charger listed for 69.95
      - Frankston only has the dual charger for 49.95

Lucky for people who are near Hoppers Crossing lol. I've been looking for these online for a while. If you're interested in some no brand ones there are some on ebay, i'm about to purchase them but i have no idea if they're reliable or not.

Cheapest i could find were these:

Much more expensive than the energizer ones at Hoppers though =(

      • Check your local Target. Last year they had the Sonic branded dual induction chargers (which were a rebrand of another third-party accessory maker, but I don't recall which one though I did find it one time) on clearance for first $10, then down to $5, I think. They are not as nice as these but they seem to work, I bought a couple when they were $10 each - I don't use them anymore but they were okay when I did use them. Not fantastic and I think one of my battery packs might have been a dud but acceptable.

  • And to think.. I was at hoppers store earlier today buying a x360 bundle..

  • This is quite a good unit. The supplied batteries have rather low rating though. I replaced them with 980mAh ones which last almost twice as long between charges.

  • Nice! I just bought a unit that includes a twin charger, fan for the Wii, and spaces for two nunchucks for $12, but it's one of these Hong Kong units.

We have the 4-way version of this Energizer unit. It is an excellent product.

I've tried and discarded other brands, both plug-in and inductive… and this one just… WORKS.

    • =[ Damn i was looking forward to use the cheapo ones i ordered from ebay.

without the receipt i just think you wrote $10 on it

  • Not bad for the price - but one of my batteries have died in the ass after only 2 months with the other dying about 6 months after that. When it works, its excellent - no need to worry about changing batteries anymore. But its too bad that I've had two failed batteries in less than a year. :(

    • Are these the Energizer Induction chargers or the non-branded ones?

    • You should be able to dismantle the battery packs and replace the batteries with Energiser rechargeables, unless the battery pack is a proprietary format.

  • I was there only yesterday and won't make it out again till next weekend :(

  • Had this from Kmart while ago $25 but last for 3 months.
Brought back to Kmart and they said that they dont have it anymore so they refund me money.
** 1 side LED blinking wont holding charge. The other one working fine.
