Sorry i'm all for supporting local producers, but would struggle to see how this is RRP of $223 and this isn't really a deal as such as all are at normal prices

You've got the 3 and 6 mixed around, your total should be $163 fyi

I'd expect this meat to be top quality so maybe worth the premium over supermarket stuff?

      • +1

there's nothing worth premium for most of these, probably only the scotch and lamb shank, the rest can be easily dealt with unless you're really bad at cooking (even so then don't bother with too many of these cuts, just fish and chip will do)

      • I just got the slow delight pack from these guys recently and am pretty happy with the quality of it all. Cooked up the lamb shanks last night to some pretty solid reviews. Whilst I won't be ordering it given my fridge/freezer is chock full of meat at the moment, I think this pack is still pretty fair value for what you are getting both quantity and quality wise.

    • where are you basing these prices from ?

      • These are mainly based off my local butcher
        Coles/woolies are probably 5-10% cheaper
And if you're lucky and live in WA it would be 15% cheaper at spudshed

(And it wouldn't be in bulk/fill your freezer)

I'm not going to enter into the quality debate personally each to their own

        • +3

Not trying to have a go but my local butchers are definitely quite a bit more than 10% higher than coles/woolies.. so I guess you're lucky to have such good prices near you.
Things like beef cheeks, sirloin, lamb shanks are a bit more than what you wrote down in my area

Your total sum is also higher than the listed deal so I don't think it's fair to neg it .. I don't think this is an absolute steal but it's a fairly good deal.

          • @rian354252: I think the overall vote for this spoke for itself. (As it was I was fairly conservative with most of the prices and feel even then the rrp was a tad overstated).
