Hi All,

Amazon has dropped the price of Ozbargain's favourite mesh setup even further to $176.20 delivered which is the lowest on Amazon AU I guess.

Just few days ago I bought it for $182.14. It comes with 2 Pack set.

Enjoy

  • Waiting for a good deal for 3-pack. The Huawei device is suddenly dropping off from time to time.

These or Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC Lite?

Looking at getting 2 of the Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC Lite at the moment to cover my 4 bed room, single storey house.

    • Or netgear orbi?

  • Just checked again! Price dropped few cents further. Weird!

Thanks onhunt! It took me more time than I'd like to admit to set that all up, but it worked (although they added 9.95 shipping at the last minute) and I had to sign my soul away to ZipPay, I did save $30!

Just for anyone who hasn't used ZipPay, I thought at first, cool and i can pay it off over a few months - but then I checked and realised they charge a $6 fee for every month you owe them money. I didn't notice that anywhere in the signup process but I was rushing so maybe I missed it… Sorry if I'm boring anyone who already knows all this.

  • Thanks Op!

  • I see like Google Nest WiFi these switch between 2.4 and 5gHz. Anyone have issues using this with smart devices such as Mirabella Genio that only work on 2.4?

  • Thanks OP, 4 units left

    • Gone like the wind.

  • I have a pack of these but was given an AmpliFi HD (no mesh points) from my ISP. I have a 500mbps connection. Which of these, the Deco M5 or AmpliFi HD, would give me the lowest ping and highest ethernet speed?

    • Ping is up to the kind of internet connection your on & your ISP. Both can handle 500 Mbps.

  • Any deco m9 plus deal?

    • How many nodes are you after?

      • 2 :)

This or Tenda MW6 for $120 (which is already on its way)?

    • I didn't like tenda mw6. i am sending it back. by default it doesn't even work with smart speakers like google home. wifi for my computer was slower and more lagged than my isp router. But speed was better on my phone. The google home problem can be fixed, but I just don't think my computer wifi should reduce in speed and get lag compared to no lag with isp modem, and faster speeds

      • What do you mean doesnt work with smart speakers?

        • you have to change connection mode to 'bridge' for smart speakers to work, otherwise they'll say 'there is a glitch try again later' but they never fix themselves. I have only just ordered tp link deco5, but have not heard about any problem with smart speakers

          • @bobvegas: Oh thats a major flaw .. can someone else confirm?

      • So are you saying tplink is better and solves your issues?
