Woolworths Garlic Aioli Corn Chips 200g $1.20 @ Woolworths

830

Was $1.90. Bargain price for 200gms of corn chips and the flavour is great! Looks to be Australia wide but doesn't appear in this weeks' catalogue.

  • Wat. Don't think these are at mine!

  • +14

These are great - one of my regular purchases and reasons for not losing weight :'D

    • +1

Wish they sold them in bags half the size.

      • Then I'd probably buy twice as many :(

        • +1

At least each bag would be half as fattening for you, per bag.

  • +5

YMMV - I did not like these, at all!

    • I tried them out last time they were on sale. Definitely not something I'd eat again. Taste was a bit off for me, but I can see that many others seem to love it.

    • +1

I just got them and liked them! Haha

    • +1

Enjoyed them a lot for what it's worth. For anyone wondering they've got a buttery / creamy taste with a hint of sour imho. I can't really taste the garlic.

  • Wowsome! I had them once and loved em.
Was always hoping that they'd be marked down or would be on offer, but never saw them. Also, Woolies branded stuff is rarely on offer, occasionally yes, but not very often.

    Thanks OP.

  • Grabbed the last pack of these as they were all the corn chips left at Woolworths when panic buying was at large.
Thoroughly enjoyed them and now buy them whenever I'm at that Woolies - although not all stock it!

I recommend everyone buys the Woolies Cheese Corn Chips also.

Better than both CC's and Doritos and always around $1.80

    • +6

I quite miss the CC's Mexicana. The Doritos version comes close, but CCs had more intensity in its flavour.

      • +2

        Doritos Cool Ranch 🐐

      • +1

Agree. I think CC's is criminally under-rated vs Doritos considering how much better they are flavour wise.

    • +2

Woolies Supreme Cheese Corn Chips are $1.90 for 200g.
Yes, they're better than Dorritos and CC's. The best deal you'd get on these is the half price which comes to $1.75 per 175g. Still turns out to be a tad costlier.

Hence, the $1.20 deal is quite good.

  • +1

Didn't really like these, even at this price will likely give it a miss.

  • Worth a try at a great price!

  • oh man love these!

  • Like a few ppl on here, I did not see the hype with these. They left a funny aftertaste.

In other news, Cool Ranch Doritos are back…

  • Tried them the other day and wasn't that impressed. Lack of crunch (as if they were stale, but well in date) vs Dorito's and aftertaste was very strong (tasted natural though).

  • +1

Oh goddamn NO please. These will actually be the death of me.

  • +1

this + wollies spicy salsa dip + netflix = win

    • +2

Woolies salsa is surprisingly good. I use it on corn chips, in wraps, burritos, in pasta or just by the spoonful. Cheap too!

      • +1

        $1.50

  • It's okay tasting. It's not as strong as I'd hoped. Was expecting good garlic taste like how sour cream and onion has a strong(er) flavour. It's nice with a dipping sauce though.

  • Still $1.90 at my local so didn't buy any…

  • these are absolutely delicious…i mean it is a dipping chip, but often i just eat it on its own..so don't get too much dip!

  • Do these taste like cool ranch? I always liked cool ranch too bad it got discontinued

  • +1

Will give this a go….. but on a similar note.. how good are the Tostitos Corn Chips!! (https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/search/products?searchTer…)

I always stock up on them when they're 50% off.

  • Grabbed 3 of them from my local. They're damn yummy.

  • 120 @ Keysy Sth, but unavailable tag.
