Where did you see a discount for reason 11? I saw an email suggesting how much better Reason intro would be at only $99. Maybe its the upgrade pricing that is cheaper than just buying Reason 11 outright?
I have reason 10 suite and hoping for a decent upgrade discount… But I might just have to wait till 12 and wear it.
The upgrade path from Reason Lite to Reason is about £80 cheaper than buying it outright. This may be a good method if you want to start out with Reason, but it's standard pricing, not a bargain. Reason Lite is free from Plugin Boutique if you make any other purchase, but it's frequently available for free or a negligible amount from a variety of sources, including being bundled with many audio software products.
There's also an upgrade from a previous version of Full to v11, but none of the upgrades are currently discounted… anywhere, that I could find, although I didn't look hard. Last year, Reason Studios had a Black Friday discount of 33% discount on its products, including upgrades. That may be your best hope if your desire to upgrade is not urgent.
