$399 is RRP but if your work/school or uni has an Apple account, you can buy them for $350 which is what I did last week. Ordered on Tuesday, received on Wednesday.

Also purchased over the phone, I’ve found it’s much more efficient over the phone, free postage, and by time I can make it to a store I’m usually out of luck with price changes.
Learnt my lesson when dick smith had a sale earlier in the year, dick smith cancelled my order but many people were able to secure with officeworks over the phone.

This was a few weeks back now. But when the deal was still available you just call office works customer service number and advise them of the cheaper price. They will price beat and then send out to your address. No need to leave the house

Wow I recently got my Airpod Pros back after I experienced exactly this issue and took them to Officeworks for repair/replacement. I had no idea it was a common problem but it sounds identical to what happened to mine - a weird rattle in one bud that would stop when I turned off noise cancelling and transparency mode. I'd still buy them if I had my time over again because they've been brilliant apart from that issue (plus OW's customer service was great) but it's definitely worth noting for anyone considering picking them up.
How did you find them for phone calls? I have airpod2s and i sometimes find people i call using them complain about hearing outside noises (wind, surrounding people, sound of me opening packaging or shopping stuff in the kitchen etc). I'd consider upgrading if the noise cancellation worked well for the the person on the other side of a phone call.
I’ve found them great to use, I use them for work and no one has complained yet about surrounding noises whether it’s outside or inside. Although they do comment on my baby crying sometimes..
I returned my earlier pair due to a fault and tried the jabra 75t which I found were much worse! Many complaints from people I’m talking to.

I don't think ANC works to reduce background noise picked up by the microphones when you're on calls. My understanding is that ANC only reduces background noise for the person listening to the Airpods and not for someone who's on a call with the person using Airpods.
Having said that I've had no issues with people being able to hear me when I use them for calls. A few people were able to tell that I was walking around the city while on the call (noises from cars, other people etc.) but no one's ever said they struggled to hear me
For me it’s kind of hit and miss…mostly misses ….other people do complain about background noise when I am outside.

TLDR: Officeworks PBG charged my card full amount, invoice said discounted amount.
Just a heads up, I did the officeworks PBG this morning, and got the invoice for the discounted amount however my bank was charged the full retail $399.
I've just got off the phone with them, and had to send them a screenshot of my bank transactions as at their end it all looked correct. Banking are checking into it and will refund me the difference if they can find the mistake.
Of course they have made a mistake. You’ve got the invoice showing the discounted amount but yet they have charged you the full $399.

Easiest way is to call the 1300 number on officeworks website and ask for a price match. You can have the option of click and collect from your nearest officeworks with stock or delivery. I told them I want to price match mediaform and they'll ask for the price and sku number. They should already have this deal approved as I didn't even give them the web address, and I did this earlier this week. Hope that helps.
