screen player's field of view, especially in RTS and FPS games, the field of vision is extremely wide.

  • Ultra clear image with clear details. 3440×1440 ultra-clear resolution, every corner of the scene can
be realistic and delicate, and the game world is spectacular and exquisite.

  • High brightness, high contrast, and vivid picture quality. The display brightness is up to 300 nits,
with a high contrast ratio of 3000:1, the game screen is from bright white to deep black, clear and
    beautiful, vivid and vivid.

  • 1500R large curvature surrounded visual field, gives you an immersive experience. The 1500R's
extremely large curvature design, the line of sight is surrounded by the screen, showing a
panoramic view of the overall immersion; the curved screen has a smaller visual tilt angle, and
the eyes are almost equidistant, reducing visual distortion, fully restore the true Horizons of each corner.

  • 144Hz high refresh rate, fast responses, every action is faster. 144Hz high refresh rate, 4ms response

  • AMD Free-Sync, the picture is smooth, not stuck, not tearing. AMD Free-Sync technology can
consistently match the screen display at high frame rate input, reducing problems such as stucking
or tearing during game play, improving visual fluency and greatly enhancing player competitiveness.

    • Try changing the hz back to 60hz.

Mine did it a lot on 100hz but since i changed to 60hz it doesn't happen much at all - although still thinking about whether to change it because even if it happens twice a day it should not do that.

      • Unfortunately both can only do 50hz maximum due to their capabilities…

        • Sorry, not quite sure what you mean, can you give a little more detail for the younger players please?

          • @argus: The maximum hz your processor can take will determine what hz will work fine for your monitor.

            • @poczynek77: Thank you, so with i5 6th gen 32Mb ram and GTX1050Ti 4Gb what Hz would you recommend please?

              • @argus: You'd need to google what it recommends as maximum. Otherwise start with the highest and see if it works. And then move down until you find one that is stable.

    • same issue here, might play around with it more to get back to you

      • Good to know that it is not just me…

@Gearbite Rep any suggestions to help with this issue please?
I like the monitor and don't really want to return it but if I can't stop this black screen problem the monitor is no good to me.
        The computer is i5 6th gen with GTX1050Ti 4Gb

        Your help would be appreciated.

    • What is everyone doing when this occurs? Gaming?

      • seems like it's happening quite frequently even outside of gaming, literally browsing this website and this still happens

  • Anyone notice the white power led keeps flashing if you turn your pc off but leave the monitor on? There seems to be no timeout on that?

    • It just doing that so you know it is in sleeping/power saving mode. Similar to other monitors, when there is no signal in, the led will just turn amber and it won't turn off.

      • +1

but a flashing white light is more annoying than amber light that is not flashing

        • Why would you keep staring that indicator? 😊
If that really annoyed you, probably switch off the power is the only way… I always do it anyways for safety purpose.

        • +1

I'm assuming it's in your bedroom and bothers you at night

  • I bought one of these screens from a previous deal, just a warning, my screen's transformer came faulty and has a constant high pitched buzz - https://soundcloud.com/user-705898102/monday-at-1-23-pm if you are interested

Going through the process to replace it now, but it might be a sign of poor quality control.

  • My monitor arrived safely today. I'm glad there's no dead pixels, but I can't seem to get above 100hz refresh rate on the supplied DisplayPort cable. I've tried overclocking on Radeon settings (I'm using an R9 390X) and CRU but neither have had any success. I've ordered a 5700XT and hope that will fix the issue.

    • I've got an AMD® Radeon rx 5700, and on the supplied displayport cable it lets me to go 120hz in linux (opensource drivers), and 144hz in windows 10 (AMD Experience driver bundle), using displayport input 1, in case there's something esoteric in there about which input.

  • Mine was due Monday but still nothing today (Tuesday)

Any other Victorians having a similar experience?

    • Item was stuck at sorting centre from Sunday, have contacted Auspost, hopefully will deliver shortly.

      • Any update on when these monitors are likely to be posted out? I'm also in Victoria. Your company does not answer the phone number on your website nor reply to email.

        • Please ps your order no, I will check for you.

    • yep, i had something similar.
gearbite posted it on friday and it was supposed to arrive monday or tuesday (according to auspost), but it did turn up today.

      • How do you change the language to English

        • open up the menu, go to the bottom option (settings), top option is language

  • I can't get sound to come out the monitor, has anyone else had this issue?

    • I wondered about this. Not sure it has speakers ..

    • It doesn't have speakers lol that's a audio out not in on the monitor

      • Yes I am ashamed to say I spent a solid amount of time trying to get sound to emit. thanks haha

        • Yeh I think the confusion comes when you plug a hdmi cable in the laptop and the speaker says output to Xiaomi monitor

  • This deal still available? Getting no response on Facebook

    • Yes, please make sure check instruction carefully.

      • Pretty sure I’ve done it all!

        • Replied, please check.

  • Is the ghosting that bad ?

    Or exaggerated

    • I have been using it for a week and haven't witnessed any

      • that's interesting cos a few people said they see the ghosting..

what types of games you tested?

        try dragging windows around

        and also do this test

        https://www.testufo.com/ghosting

        • can someone confirm its not just dragging your window at a stupid speed to create ghosting?

like day to day use - is there ghosting

          • @astarman: Maybe I'm blind but in my day to day use I have noticed nothing of the sort.

I use the PC for work and personal. No issues moving any windows of word or excel around the screen.

I've used it for cod warfare and also cannot see any issue

          • @astarman: I have been using it for work for about 2 weeks and it has been pretty good.

If you're not planning to drag the windows or watching UFOs all day long then you are good :)

My son uses it to play Roblox hasn't complained about it. Perhaps too low end gaming 🙂🙂

I did the ufo test at 50hz ( max. my laptop can do) and the ghosting was pretty obvious. Not sure if it will be better if I connect to my other PC and turn on 144hz.

  • Really tempted but I need to know if it's going to cut it for FPS games. I have an 8 year old 2ms TN panel now.

Reports on ghosting vary wildly for this panel - can someone set the response time setting to the fastest available and make some videos?

  • A few years ago I bought that cheap 25" Samsung ultrawide (tbh, I bought it by accident because my dumb brain thought it would be about the same size as my non ultrawide 24"). That monitor had software that had more ultrawide friendly aero snap features (I could snap windows into thirds or 6ths and stuff like that). Does anyone know a good program that does this or does xiaomi have something with this monitor? I don't know if the Samsung software works on other monitors but I remember I uninstaller it for not working well so I need options that actually have support behind them.

    • *LG monitor not Samsung

      • Yeah it's called fancy zones

        • Holy wow, that's perfect and power toys also negates my autohotkey I have running to remap a string of keys! Thankyou, I don't know how I didn't already know about this.

          • @AlmightyBeing: Another popular one is DisplayFusion, although due to its highly configurable options it will take you some time to get used to it.

  • +1

Wow this thread is long. I purchased this particular deal and didn't use it until I got my new PC built so i'm a bit late to the partay. First impressions - the monitor was great. But then i started to notice really bad blacks and backlight shine through in certain circumstances.

I made a thread on ozbargain https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/559143 asking whether this was normal as I had heard of things like IPS glow (even though this is a VA) etc on more budget monitors.

Eventually someone posted some dark shots of their screen and I realised mine was actually horrible. You can see some shots/videos of monitor here: https://imgur.com/a/0nTPLbD

Gearbite can you please weigh in on this and let me know if my screen is faulty?

    • Yikes that's really bad, worst I've seen too

    • Please contact us with order no by ps. We will happy to help.
