    Thanks got 17

    • +1

Sounds like you might need a shepherd skin to go with it

  • What is the rough size?

    • +1

      around 110cm

      • -6

        Nowhere near that size.

      • +1

Saw on uggexpress.com.au they have few different sizes on this mode 90,105&125. Is yours 90 or 105?

        • +1

Ours are all 105 or over, usually 110 and above. please email me at [email protected] if your size was smaller, may have been a packing error.

          • @UGGAustraliaOfficial: Cheers. I just ordered one ,can’t wait for mine in the mail. Will definitely email if size are wrong.

          • +2

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: Did that last time and got no answer.

          • +1

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: Hi UggAustralia - have to admit I was disappointing when I received mines today following your assurances here - mines is 93cm - will shoot you an email with photos.

Can you please look at my email, order 38738

      • I ordered 5 last time, all were over 110 cm.

      • Is that 110cm x 110cm? Very strange that you have not listed dimensions in the product details.

      • Hi Ugg Australia, just got my rug and am loving it. However, just wanting to confirm the size. How do you measure it? Do you measure the pelt only or the entire length?

      • Hey UggAustralia @UggAustraliaOfficial , mine (x3) arrived and they measure 95, 95 and 97cm in base length. I assume the fur length is not counted in the 110cm? (Fur were different lengths amongst the 3 rugs anyway)

Not very happy with the size, 15cm is a huge difference when it comes to these rugs. I will PM you and hopefully you can help sort this out, or should I email back through the order confirmation email directly?
*edit saw the previous comment, have emailed at [email protected]

    • +3

It'd have to be smaller than a sheep I'd say.

    • They are quite soft and fluffy, not rough at all.

      I'll see myself out.

    • +4

Just measured the one I got from the previous deal - 115 cm.

  • -6

Just a reminder OZB, last time we posted these rugs they sold out very quickly.

      • +17

Sorry but you are misinformed, we are 100% Australian owned. We are not the American company (Deckers) you are referring to.
We actually went to court against them in 2005.

        • +2

Really? That makes me feel better about buying your products.
It's unfortunate that googling "Ugg Australia" gives you their Wikipedia article.
I take back my sassy comment. (Except for the FOMO part, that stands;) )

          • +4

@Zephyrus: No problem, we are also frustrated by the USA company.

            • @UGGAustraliaOfficial: Why don’t you change the name of your company to “Genuine Ugg Boots”. That’d make their version seem non genuine in comparison.

  • +3

Excellent quality sheepskin. Have just purchased another as our Shetland Sheepdog has decided she wants to keep the first one we bought!

    • +1

very spoilt Dog :). Thanks for the feedback

    • Nawww that’s cute!

  • +3

Thanks OP, picked one up for our Japanese Spitz who'll blend right into it!

    • +1

likewise!! bought two in case he destroys the first! haha

  • +4

Bought a rug during April 2020. Australia post lost the package in transit, provided case number and relevant details to [email protected] and Anthony Speers, however, yet to hear anything from the UGG team.

    • +2

Sorry to hear, I will get Anthony on to this today and repost express. Can I have your order number please.

      • Order number 21435

        • +2

Thank you we will send another.

        • -4

          Order number 21435

Hey, that was my order number too :-)

    • -1

Same thing here. They seem to ignore emails unless it is made public like posting on this website.

      • +5

Hi Colver, I've tried to help you but you don't provide your order number? provide it so that I can resolve the issue please

        • +3

We supplied our order number, this has been emailed and tried calling. It is now a complaint with ACCC and paypal. Why are you not responding to emails and why do people have to post order numbers here for you to support your customers?

The reviews are reflecting that lots of people have had this issue with your company for years now.

What you are saying is that you only provide customer support via this website?

          • -3

@[Deactivated]: Colver this deal is sold out, if you want help Ive told you how to do it.
You are clearly more interested in making a point than resolving your issue.

            • +1

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: if you want help Ive told you how to do it. You have told me to post my order on a public website.

Thanks for the confirmation that you only support via this website and publicly. I will update my case with the ACCC. You should update your website to reflect this.

              • @[Deactivated]: We have asked you many times to DM us your order number? We are more than happy to deal with ACCC. Thank you.

                • -6

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: That is no problem and please let us know when you have updated your website with this information. Your comments reflect that you want people to post order numbers. We have already sent the order number, why are you confused by this?

                  • @[Deactivated]: Colver I would be happy to refund you but you wont disclose your order number. There is no need to keep writing to us on here.

                    • -3

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: We ahve given Ugg Australia our order number, lots of times. You have failed to action it! I will always warn people to stay away from Ugg Australia after having to deal with your company.

Your website sates no refunds: https://uggaustralia.com.au/pages/returns-and-exchanges Are you saying this is incorrect on your website as well?

The reviews show they are getting worse. People are even sending them registered post to them because this company is not responding to calls and emails

"Waiting two months for them to return my call!!
                      published 4 hours ago

Two pairs of children's ugg boots were ordered - one arrived. I have being trying to contact them for two months and they have failed to return my calls. I sent a registered letter asking them to call me and still no reply."

                      • +1

@[Deactivated]: We would happily refund you :)…. Take care.

                        • -5

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: OK, so either you are giving out false information or your website is. Either way the fact is that Ugg Australia gives out false information. A quick search on the reviews shows that Ugg Australia refuses refunds. Do you only give refunds when people complain publicly on this website?

Edit: Have spoken to PayPal who confirmed that you refuse refunds. They have told me that since the item was never sent and the tracking reflects this they will issue the refunds instead. You are a liar, confirmed by PayPal, your own website and countless reviews.

                • -4

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: More than happy to deal with ACCC?

Sounds a bit passive-aggressive. Not a good look.

      • Yes, their customer support is pretty bad. Products are so so.

        • +4

I can't comment on their customer service, but I find the rug I bought a few months ago quite nice, very warm and comfortable as a throw on the couch.

      • +2

You have every right to be frustrated. You have repeatedly told them you've supplied the order number. And I agree, they are seemingly using this platform to ameliorate their customer service reputation. This is one of the things I like about this website and its status. While it has some questionable aspects (which I refuse to get into), it's comments like yours, and the way in which they are handled, that sends a message to companies that they should pay close attention to. Not impressed with their replies to you at all.

That smiley face particularly made me bristle.

  • +1

Cheers finally bought one after seeing similar deals (from Ugg Australia) in the past.

Regarding size, people need to remember these aren't 'manufactured' like a regular rug, it's literally the skin of an animal, so size will vary - sounds kinda bad when I think of it like that, but somehow I can look the other way when it comes to sheep skin products… currently wearing out my Ugg boots from wearing them everyday during lockdown ;)

    • Sure, but they can grade the sizes and they seem fairly uniform - start with the skin from the abattoir, then cut the perimeter to a standard 'sheep' shape. What they measure though is the absolute extreme point and include the wool flattened out to extend the measurement.

Also these are teased out wool, so they're not particularly soft as it's just straight wool fibres. Better than concrete, but not like the wool is on a sheep.

      • Really? Mine is soft as silk.

  • +4

Omg.. Why did I just buy this? Lol

    • +1

Put it in a couch, or a head piece on a chair, works a treat.

  • +2

After the excellent service, value, delivery time and product quality you presented in the other thread you have me as a return customer. Keep up the excellent work.

Thanks for the feedback, very happy to have you as a customer.

  • +5

Bought one in the past deal for mother's day. It exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend if you are having doubts.

    • Thanks :)

    • +1

Same here (and Mum loved it), and thus why I'm buying another for myself. Even considering two, one as a back-up present.

  • +2

Can vouch for these, got one from the last deal. Excellent quality, reminds me of my childhood as we had one of these when I was growing up and I remember rolling around naked on it, it felt so gooooood :D

  • +1

Also got one from a previous deal, great rug, fast shipment and delivery

    • +1

      Thanks for the feedback :).

  • +1

Thanks OP. Looks like great quality.

  • +1

Have one. Just wonderful. Bought another for my daughter with a new born. OK for babies to be in contact with?

    • +9

We don't recommend for new borns as the fur is long and could be a hazard.

    • I have one but I place it under the cot sheet for my baby so it’s not in direct contact but they get the comfort underneath them.

  • ty op , got one.

  • +2

    https://www.uggexpress.com.au/products/premium-quality-soft-…

If these are the same then op’s is $11 cheaper. Nothing to special. I personally prefer a bigger one. If these are good quality then I think the price is good but hard to say.

Same photo? Same company or did op get photo stolen/other way around.

These ones are probably 105x55cm. I just wonder the grade, ect.

Costco had good quality ones I bought last time for $150 180cmx110. It’s the second time they had it for this price since Costco opened which isn’t often

    • +2

These are not the same rugs, ours are superior Quality and Australian made. The photo we are looking into. Thank you.

      • They’ve stolen your ad pic.

    • +2

Yes, they're in effect the same (only not that big). They're ok quality, but nothing special.

  • +9

When I woke up this morning dreaming of what Ozbargain deal may come my way today, buying a sheepskin floor rug would have sat pretty low on my betting ticket. But, here we are.

    • +4

      made me LOL :).

    • +1

i'm sure there will be some eneloop batteries on sale today! :P

  • +1

Dammit FOMO got me.. I'm a sucker..

    • Dammit FOMO got me too.. We are suckers..

  • How do you guys use these? Draped on a chair or just as a mini floor rug?

    • You can use for either of those or over the end of your bed is also nice.

    • +1

my black one was for many years on the floor next to my bed so I stepped out onto it each morning.

now it is on the floor over a electrical and ethernet cable to prevent them being a trip hazard.

    • Tried mine on a chair, but it was no more comfortable. Now it's still in the bag it came in. Dud purchase and I paid $80.

      • Did you try sitting on it nakid as someone else suggested?

    • +5

      Who hurt you?

    • +4

This is why we need to reduce the Job seeker payment, too much free money spent on (Australian made?) meth.

    • +1

While I partly agree with some of your post I think you'd find these skins are a by product of the meat industry (and you forgot about the bear rug shaggers).

    • "….. and sex's on its national animal ……"

For when role-play gets a little vanilla: one can dress as the Roo while the other an Emu …..

    • Who p*ssed in your Weet-Bix, mate?

I can't answer that, but I suspect it wasn't Ugg Australia.

  • +2
    • for the deal, + for dealing with absolute dropkicks in the comment section as usual
