    • Thank you :)

    • Not taking a jab at Ciderfizz or the rep, but being 30mins away from the point of sale and receiving the postage in ~2weeks? That'll never happen in developed countries. Clearly, our AusPost system is rigged.

It's sad that I've seen small and honest businesses ruined by the incompetence of AusPost. But that is not to say that UggAustralia could go on neglecting people's phone calls and emails.

      • +1

I think it also depends on the volume they offer, this time they say 500 pairs only to ensure on time delivery. Last order in May I didn’t receive the auspost shipping preparation email until 10 days after ordering.

This time round I ordered yesterday & already have the auspost preparation email this morning. For this type of product I don’t mind waiting a week/two or expect amazon type service from a smaller business, that’s just me personally though.

  • Any deal on the men's Bondi mini boot? I know there's 10% off, but it's still out of my budget

  • Wow. Even the half the people who claim to be happy are saying "took ages to arrive" and/or "worth 30 not 70", I mean, if they're your advocates…

  • +2

I’ve bought 5 pairs. The kids, wife and me all love them. Warm and comfy and no problem with quality. Got 4 pairs in one deal (the one that caused most of the issues), took a bit longer to arrive but with the virus thing going on and Aus Post getting hammered it was understandable. The only thing negative I can say is that OP could’ve had better communication regarding the delays in delivery. The second order was one pair, for my 10 year old son who was jealous he didn’t get a pair in the first order, so naturally I had to get him a pair. There were no issues with that order. I’ll be happy to buy from Ugg Australia again if anyone in my family needs another pair.

  • +1

Giving them a shot despite all the delays with shipping. Its a very cold winter this year! Thanks OP

    • So far so good. Received a tracking number just now

  • +1

Bought a pair on the last deal they had, very happy with the delivery and quality …

  • Bought a pair of scuffs on the last sale. Pretty comfortable until the wool starts wearing away - which in my case was about 2 weeks in. Emailed them to ask how long is reasonable for wool to start wearing away and after sending pictures they never replied

  • It's sad to see that the George Floyd incident shook a nation, but when a few brutally honest reviews (albeit very sour) get posted here, it shook more wallets.

Having said that, I understand the risks on getting yourself a deal/bargain, is that one should expect a certain level of risks, complexities and intricacies in gaming the bargain.

  • +1

I bought very similar pair back in May 2019, no issues with delivery to VIC. Sizing was accurate and quality was well made. Used them a lot, lasted me up until now. Still going but the sheepskin has started to wear off now, so have ordered another pair. Thanks OP.

  • +3

Do not buy from this company. had a very bad experience with an order placed over 3 months ago. it took over 2 months to receive my order. wouldn't buy again from them.

  • +3

Buy from this company. Had a very good experience with an order placed over 3 months ago. It took less than 2 weeks to receive my order. Would buy again from them.

  • Seems a mixed bag of experience. I'll give it a go and report back.

  • Since you can't wash these, how do you clean them, especially the white part which may look dirty sooner or later with the use?

    • most sheepskin is dry clean only. The only sheepskin that isn't is sheepskin treated for medical or Baby rugs.

  • +1

These are exactly what I'm after but all the negative reviews are putting me off. Not sure the savings are worth potentially having to chase up the company for timely delivery or quality goods, or ask paypal for a refund.

    • We can only ask you try for yourself?

      • +2

That's exactly my point - I don't think it's worth the hassle of trying

        • +2

Its not worth the hassle, trust me.

          • @[Deactivated]: Considering the effort the rep has made in the thread alone was enough for me to buy a pair for me and the wife.

            • -1

@Bold Eagle: Lots of words but no actions from the rep. Just remember, if your order goes wrong you will need to post here to resolve it as it seems to be the only way to contact them.

              • @[Deactivated]: I am getting tracking updates from Aust. Post and had a 2nd update today;

                Most recent update
                Item processed at facility
                MELBOURNE VIC
                Date & time Fri 17 Jul • 12:09pm

Delivery expected Tue 21 - Fri 24 Jul*

So, objectively I am seeing 'lot's of activity' but no empty or hollow words.

If the product is good then I am going to be happy as Aust Post obviously has it.

                • -1

@Bold Eagle: I am only seeing hollow empty words from the rep on here. The fact that you have to post a comment on here to get in contact with this company should be a red flag to start with. Best of luck and hope it arrives so you do not have to post here to get it resolved.

                  • @[Deactivated]: Mine arrived on the 21/0720 as did many others posting below. The build quality looks to be excellent and I am happy with the price paid. It arrived in less than a week so overall a good experience. The rep has made a significant effort in this thread and the outcomes are excellent. Hope you get yours sorted one way or the other.

                    • @Bold Eagle: We have had the complete opposite experience with this company. Its sad people have to come here to get support because they do not respond to emails. Most outcomes I have read about have not been excellent. The trend from Ugg Australia customer support seems to be bad and the reviews are reflecting this as well.

I would avoid them at all costs at this point. Still waiting - Over 3 months now

                      • @[Deactivated]: From below we can note there are many from this current sale posting their satisfaction with this sale, the quality of the product and the timely delivery.

I had numerous delayed purchases during this COVID-19 lockdown and it is reasonable to assume that international devilries and Aust Post were overwhelmed during this crisis that many online consumers have had very delayed deliveries of items. The greatest frustration was Aust Post not posting any notifications about delays and trying to keep customers informed. I had one ebay item (TV Remote) be refunded because it was 2-3 weeks past their defined delivery timeframe on ebay. They had provided a tracking number to Australia but then there was nothing, the item did arrive after 3months and I repaid the seller.

    • I ordered 2 pairs on the 26th March and they arrived on the 2nd April. Worn every day by myself and a pair for my wife. Both in great shape. I give the soles a clean once in a while with a pine o clean wipe and that is abouot it.

    • I'm not so sure whether there are many people with the negative experiences. There are a handful of posters that seem to have it out for this business, but I think you'd find that more individuals have posted positive feedback.

  • I ordered 2 pairs in the last sale. Both my partner and I have worn them most days. Absolutely love them. No issues at all, would highly recommend. Can't understand all the negative reviews. Perhaps they had some older issues that people are still holding them to. It looks like these have been resolved as the recent purchasers seem to be happy. I am extremely happy and would recommend. Buying more now as gifts.

  • Yeah i also bought these over a year ago , wear them daily and LOVE them - am buying another pair in a different colour! and for my wife.

    Great quality.

  • +1

I bought in the first sale, took forever to arrive but I did eventually get a pair, in my size, albeit a different colour. But hey, they're slippers, not dress shoes I'm getting married in.

Honestly, apart from terrible shipping during the height of covid, there is nothing I can continually complain about, the slippers are good quality at a good price. Super comfy and I'd buy again, and even if the shipping took as long again Id still be happy. Some of the people here endlessly complaining about how long it took seriously need to have a good long think about what actually matters in life.

  • +1

Recent positive experience with this mob. Shipping was a bit slow but that could be down to Covid as all my recent deliveries have been late. They are a nice product.

    Recommended.

  • +3

I wouldn't bother trying to purchase from this company. I ordered new boots back in April from a $30 deal posted on here but still haven't received anything.

After emailing their customer service team they said the item had been sent with an Australia Post tracking number - which turned out to be fake…

Now in the process of trying to get my money back.

    • Hi there, we don't use fake tracking numbers. Aus post might have lost your parcel.
Please email me at [email protected] If your parcel tracking hasn't been delivered I will express post you a pair today.
Put OZB in subject so I can find you now please

    • +1

Hello I had the exact same experience, with the tracking number working at first but now AusPost says it's not real.

  • Best shoes ever. I've had mine for a year and wear them daily. It's sad because Aus post has been having tonnes of issues with postage and it's not Uggs fault.

Merino wool is the best wool and by buying these shoes you are supporting melbourne producers. Do not buy anything else!

Do you have a deal on those beautiful Merino rugs? I bought 2 for mother's Day as a gift and have received feedback that they are absolutely divine.

  • Thx ordered two.

Hopefully they arrive soon and good quality….

  • Almost sold out OZB, thank you for the support and feedback.
we will continue to improve our processes.
This deal will expire by tomorrow, thanks again.

  • I got a pair from the last sale, and wear them every day I love them regardless of the pages of negative comments on that deal as well. Some of the wool came out initially and was around the house but after a while, this settled down.

A really good bargain for the price, they're comfy and warm and got them delivered within the week. I challenge the negative posters to find a comparable deal, and for those complaining about not getting a reply — If I were a company in the same position I wouldn't bother replying to such immature and disrespectful comments either, the negativity here is unbelievable.

    • Thanks for your feedback and support :)

  • +1

So I ordered these at the start of May and still haven't received them.
I have received two emails saying they are delayed by COVID.

I have no idea why they are continuing to sell a product they don't have in stock and that they haven't had in stock for about three months now.

    • Hi Padricko, we have plenty of stock, something has obviously gone very wrong with your order.
Can you email me your order number at [email protected] with OZB in subject so I can find you and fix this now.

      • +1

I have emailed you now when I saw this ad up again.
I have sent a emails previously with only a default covid response.

        • sorry about this can you please forward the email so I can find you?

          • +1

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: I have emailed you again now.

            Just to outline my experience.

I previously emailed you, and had received a reply on jun 17 saying it was never dispatched because of covid.

However, nearly two months earlier when I ordered I was given a AUSPOST tracking number and an email saying it was dispatched. That number is now not recognised by Auspost.

I think this company does use fake tracking numbers and you should definitely stop that.

            • @padricko: Padricko which email address have you emailed and what is your order number?
It doesn't sound like us? we have never used fake tracking, ever!

              • @UGGAustraliaOfficial: I emailed [email protected] at 3:35PM with my order number and the subject OZB
I have previously sent two emails about a month apart each, one of which was responded to as I said above.

Tracking number is found in the email from you on May 4, then the reply on Jun 17 said it was never dispatched. This is a fake tracking number.

                • @padricko: Your issue will be resolved today. I believe the parcel may have been lost by Auspost. We don't have any need to make up fake tracking numbers.
This would only cause us problems

                  • +1

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: Can you confirm what occurred with the package?

Auspost doesn't lose packages, especially those with tracking, without alerting people.

                    • @padricko: Im sorry Aus post lose a lot of packages, you are misinformed.
If we send 10,000 packages 20-30 will be lost by Auspost with no alerts what so ever.
We will always reship at our own cost.
Again happy to fix your issue today.

                      • +1

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: Please do send it today or refund the order.

I would suggest talking to Auspost about your deal with them, given the tracking number doesn't work at all.

A lost parcel with a tracking number should still show as in transit or at some distribution centre, or returned.

                  • +3

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: do you ever get sick of using the Aus post losing parcels excuse. I spent $8k in online shopping in 3 months during the height of covid. Only lost parcel came from you.

  • +1

Always wanted to try this but the comments made me hesitate 😌

Bit the bullet because I'll need new shoes for around the house soon. If it doesn't come, PayPal refund is easy. If they suck on arrival, I'm returning them.

Every pair of home slippers like these only last a year of daily wearing so I don't expect these to be any different. Does anyone know of a padded slipper that lasts much longer? I would like to buy them if it exists.

    • +1

How would you return them. Ugg Australia do not offer returns/refunds https://uggaustralia.com.au/pages/returns-and-exchanges

      • +2

Isn't this ozbargain where people take things to ACCC when they're not happy with things?

If not, I'll go to the slipper ombudsman or my local parliament member for footwear.

    • Yeah you wont be able to just return them…

  • I had a positive experience. Purchased in the last deal, order arrived promptly but was damaged in transit - contacted customer support and they promptly sent another pair which we are happy with. Quality is decent, especially for the price - girlfriend is happy with it.

  • Just purchased a pair.

Seeing all the negative reviews makes me want one even more and be blown away considering my expectations are low. haha

  • Hmmm how can the price be jacked up in 1 year during these economic conditions? from $28 to $34?

  • +2

Ignore the RRP of these, they aren’t worth a cent over $30. I bought them when they had their $28 sale, wore them every day, and the sheep skin started hollowing out at the heel and near the toes a week in and they were in terrible shape a month in…
At $30, most definitely not a bargain, they should be priced around $25-$30, so factor that into your buying decision.

  • +4

Thought long and hard on whether to add my two cents worth or not. Guess here I am to do so…

Prior to this deal and most recent one, I put a large amount of effort to neg this company’s deals when I saw them and posted links and reference to warn other fellow members to steer clear. If you search my posts you’ll find all the dialogue around this.

Since this deal and the last most recent deal, I noticed a huge difference in the way the rep has conducted themselves and how they've since replied to many customers that had a very unpleasant experience, particularly from the deal around April just before Mother’s Day. That included me. The replies are day and night, and they are actually acknowledging their wrong doing and apologising. I understand your reluctance and lack of confidence in believing the rep will ‘sort this out today’, as did I and we’ve heard it all before. But again, I believe the rep is really now genuinely looking at resolving the issues for you.

I believe the rep is looking to repair the damage that’s been done previously, albeit will take a huge amount of effort and time.

Surely I’m going to get negged by the customers still trying to sort through there own bad experiences and don’t blame them.

I fortunately got my money after seeing through a lengthy PayPal dispute ordeal.

But to leave a final thought… The rep had pm’d during the last most recent deal with a gesture to which I proved to be genuine, hence why I believe they are trying to rebuild the trust and relations with members/customers on this site, let the rep sort it out for you if they are reaching out from this point on.

Come at me bro… Neg away!

  • +3

The quality of these are shocking. I got them in the last deal. They are marketed as genuine Uggs, but they're completely different to the genuine ones I have. For the bin.

    • What is a genuine Ugg though?

  • Just ordered another x5 pairs for personal use and gifting to others. Had a good experience with previous purchase.
Sure quality could be a little better but it's good for the price you pay.

    Thanks OP!

  • For those worried - I’ve had a good experience. I ordered a pair in May 2019 and received them in a reasonable amount of time. They are good quality and super comfortable. The wool has started to wear thin which is why I’ve just ordered another pair today to replace them but honestly for something I have worn every single day for over a year these have been great.

  • I bought a pair of these for my wife and I in March. Very happy with them, worn every day and still in great shape.

  • What bothers me is they claim to be the "official" ugg boot company.

The OG good quality uggs is actually now owned by USA and are defined by the logo with the big middle G.

    https://au.ugg.com/

I've had my ugg's for about 10 years. only recently had to reapply shoe gloe and stick the soles back on. Also at about the 8 year mark the interior wool bedding on the base had worn down a bit so I got some ugg wool inserts and theyre good as new.

Worth noting I also wear my ugg boots out a little bit so it's not just around the house. These things are excellent quality.

    • +1

The company you say has better quality is 100% made in China and Vietnam.
The skins they use are treated with dangerous chemicals which can go into your skin..
Not only are our Ugg boots better quality and longer lasting because we use Australian Merino skin, which is much longer lasting.
The money to purchase our materials goes back into Australian Farming, Aussie jobs and the Australian economy.

  • Bought two pair from their last sale for my WFH needs.
Very poor quality, do not buy it.

    Here's why:

    1) upon receiving, I notice the white fluff inside was shedding. I had to comb my hand through the insides of the slippers to gently pull out the loose fluff. Made a big mess, but lucky I did this outside the house. The shed doesn't stop as I occasionally see bits of white fluff stuck on my sock or around the house.

    2) it doesn't do a good job keeping my feet warm. What's more weird is that makes my feet sweat despite it being cold. The feeling is like having cold sweats.

I will never buy from this seller again

  • +3

Thanks OZB we are going to close this deal off to ensure all orders are sent in a timely manner.
Thanks again for the feedback and support.

  • Thanks OP, ordered a pair

  • For those that 'bit the bullet' it looks like they are making a sincere effort to get stock to customers.

Can’t knock em. Mine arrived in under a week.

Never had any Ugg’s before. Thought the wool might be a little softer, but they’re comfortable and fit well. Ugly tag on one foot but that’s easily removed.

Perfect for the cold months at home

    Thanks seller

  • I ordered a pair of these back in March and was sent the wrong pair which I have sent back. I have never received the correct pair or a refund despite sending multiple emails, none of which have been responded to.

  • +1

Mine arrived today ordered and paid for on the 15/07/20 and here on the 20/07/20 and the build quality looks like decent workmanship. I am very happy with the service, delivery, quality and build quality. Thanks OP you were true to your word and I am glad I took the chance.

  • +1

Mine Arrived really quick. Just got it today.
The customer service was fantastic, helped me with my enquiry and was a smooth process.
This is the second time I've ordered from them in recent times.

Give them a chance to address issues you may have, its a difficult time for everyone.
We don't know the full story and how their company has been affected. Please be understanding and patient.

Back on topic. The slippers are nice and I am happy with the purchase
    Thanks again!

  • Received mine yesterday. Very happy with the purchase and turnaround time

  • Ordered from this deal and they have just come in.

Uggs looks fine and fit well. No quality issues to be seen.

If they hold up for at least a few months I'll be a happy customer! Thanks.

  • Just got mine. Ordered on the 15 July and received Aust post tracking the very next day.

Quality is good! I love it no complaints.

There is alot of negative comments but none here very pleased for a very good price!

    • I agree. Arrived in 12 days, and quality seems pretty good. Very comfortable!

  • Has anyone in Sydney got their delivery?

Mine says on the way since 18 July and no update since… Hopefully won't be one of those "aus post has lost ur parcel"…..

    • Same here, I had an email saying your parcel was delayed, if not arrived by 29 July, contact us to investigate

  • I ordered two pairs during last sale no issues, ordered another two this time but only received one pair.
Emailed regarding issue, quick reply, missing item will be sent ASAP, just waiting for confirmation email.

  • Received my order yesterday and to my surprise it was missing a pair :(

I immediately emailed them however no response as yet. Not happy.

OP if you are reading this, please look into the matter. Order #35154

    • They will call you now and express a new pair today.

  • Oops wrong post.
