that is strange, would you like to exchange them?

    • +5

Gee. That's seriously bad quality control shown on that photo!

      • +3

Agree, looks like we made a big error there. We will fix it up straight away.

        • +2

          hmmmmmm

    • -1

Why do the heels have to line up again?

      • +3

The same reason why the arms on a jumper should be the same length…

        • -1

          Bad example.

          • +1

@nepalesesquirrel: How? You want heels that are the same size on your shoes, not one heel being longer than the other. Its going to affect the way you plant your foot and for the less stable people it could pose a serious risk.

            • -3

@TightTerry: Srsly, for some scuffs you bum around your house in, compared to walking around in public with one long sleeve and one short sleeve. Lol

      • If stamping up and down, probably not much. If rolling your foot forwards within your stride, you'd sense something was a bit wrong.

    • To put a close on this, I've just received a replacement pair. Thanks UggAustraliaOfficial

  • +2

Bought a pair. Srsly, for $34 you can’t go wrong. Not expecting a seller to gargle for that price.

  • +2

Bought a pair here just over a year ago, wear them daily, very comfortable and had no problems with them..

  • Bought these a few months ago. I had no issues with the quality. They're a bit slippery on certain tiles and the sole almost feels a bit too rigid for this type of slipper (not a lot of flex, like the sole of their boots), but neither bothered me too much. The one deal breaker for me is that they just didn't keep my feet warm, but I think that's down to the fact that they're open back and I live in a very cold house (I'd never had a pair of open backs before). I've gone back to wearing the boots instead.

EDIT: It looks like they've changed the sole since I bought mine. The new one looks like it would flex a bit more.

  • +3

Good quality and bargain at that price delivered. Rep is clearly trying his best to resolve any issues.

  • +1

Wow! Some serious negative comments here. I just received mine from the last deal and for $34 I have no complaints. They obviously aren't $100+ quality but they aren't priced at $100+ so what do you expect. We'll see how they go from a couple of months of wearing them but so far I'm happy.

  • +2

250 pairs left, once we hit this we are taking the deal down to ensure speedy delivery. Thanks OZB.

  • +3

I had poor experience dealing with them in the past (poor communication, late delivery, poor quality) but they have contacted me recently after a negative vote on one of their deals to offer remedy. Happy to report that they did sent me replacement pairs via express post soon after.

In my opinion, it does seem like OP is trying to fix the issues and improving their service of late. Since they are an Aussie company, I will definitely recommend to give them another go

    • Fixing issues for people hunting/chasing on a bargain site.
Imagine what a run of the mile customer gets.

  • +6

Still waiting on order from March to be resolved. I would avoid this company at all costs! They do not answer emails and phones are unanswered. Only way to contact a rep is via this website!

    • if you contact me now at [email protected] I will make sure your issue is resolved.

    • -2

      Supposedly these guys are perfect

      • +3

we never said we were perfect, we do however want to resolve anyone's issues. We still don't know yours?

        • -2

As i said theres no way im giving you my order number to rectify.ABN number not displayed on site cannot find company name. When i originally tried in April you were rude and dismissive to a few people not just me. Maybe you have fixed your ways but im still hating on you and your site

          • +11

@Thissguyy: Just wrap a bit of tin foil around your head Karen and let them fix your (retail) issues, because you seem a little obsessed over this

            • +4

@dav3: I don't blame him. I've been emailing this 'company' since April the 30th. Even up until a few days ago. He doesn't give a crap unless it's on a public site where he will get more sales.

I'm happy to show email proof, the customer service is non existent once they take your orders. It's obvious it's happening to a lot of people so it's deceptive, and as a buyer, the lack of care and dismissiveness received in the very few responses is insulting. Especially after taking your money.

This guy is probably over it, just as I am.

            • @dav3: No. How about they provide an ABN and company name

          • +2

@Thissguyy: Yeah your negative feedback can't be taken seriously when they offer to correct it and you won't even provide your order number to rectify it. They've clearly had some issues but it seems like they are offering multiple times to rectify it here but you're not interested in that.

            • +3

@thestig: Ugg australia only offering to rectify on a platform where he is getting sales. Obviously realised it would hurt his profits. Behind the scenes very little has been done (atleast in mine and a lot of others experiences). The business is ignoring anyone who isn't causing much of a fuss on ozbargain.

That's straight up deceptive conduct. I have emailed again just a couple days ago (over two months of emailing) and literally nothing. Crickets. No response. Phone unanswered. I had to go through paypal in the end to get a refund as that's what I've been asking for after realising nothing's coming through. Obviously it's going to leave a very sour taste in people's mouths and I completely get where this guy is coming from

            • @thestig: So because they fix issues which they should not have in the first place makes them a good reputable site?

            • +2

@thestig: Dont care if im taken seriously . These guys ripped me off and now that i post neg comments they want to help and assist.Should not be like that.

            • @thestig: They tell you to email over and over but never respond to the emails you send them. That is not helping, that is Ugg Australia trolling.

          • @Thissguyy: ABN 57006310256 Company name is Ugg Australia

              • @Thissguyy: Yes some more of our brands? what is it that you are suggesting? or want?

                • +1

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: Some of your brands haha the sites are shut down. You just create new sites when the others turn to shit. Every site you have has terrible reviews.

                  • @Thissguyy: our main site www.uggaustralia.com.au has never been shut down. we use other brands to sell overseas as we cant use our own name bc the USA took it from us. you might have heard of this?
Our sites are not shut down and nothing has ever turned to anything?
                    https://sheepskindownunder.com/
                    https://opalugg.com.au/

                    Your accusations are all false.

                  • @Thissguyy: here is a deal from 2019, you said our site is 2020? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/455194

I hope you can now see you have made a mistake?

                    • +4

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: Ok wrong about the 2020 thing.

Still stand by the fact you are dodgy and have extremely poor customer service. Trading previously as Ludo Productions pty ltd.

                      https://uggaustralia.com.au
                      opalugg.com.au

Reviews always call you a scam and warn others to stay away. Can you explain why this negative feedback seems to follow you under every name and site you operate?

                      • @Thissguyy: Unfortunately our happy customers don't leave reviews.
We could not have forecast that our business would increase by 10-20 times the usual bc of Covid. Our customer service has lacked in the past and we fixed it.
We are doing everything to fix anyone's previous issues.
We always used the same trading name but we renamed the parent company as Ugg Australia is our most well known.

We are in no way a scam and I would be happy to fix your issue any time you would like to email me.

                        • +2

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: I have emailed. Maybe i didnt put Ozbargain in the subject line lol

                          • +2

@Thissguyy: That's a brilliant move~! I respect you for doing just that. You're not emailing them for extra favour, or deliberately letting them to butter you up.

You're effectively making them go through each and every email that they might have neglected in the past. Kudos to you.

Also, people should stop thinking that the rep is trying to right what is wrong. It's far from it. The rep is merely trying to look good on this platform.

          • @Thissguyy: well done mate, you used up all my negs.

Must try to be more careful not to waste them in the future.

  • +1

    Thanks, ordered

  • Bought a pair during their last sale and was delivered with no issues. Quality is fine.

  • +2

I would avoid this absolute scam. Ordered from them in May, was told they were shipped but never received them. No replies from multiple inquires. Dodgy crap company.

    • +1

can you please email me, sounds like Aus post lost your order. I need to track this and fix it up.
Please email me ASAP at [email protected]

      • +1

Ugg Australia is playing space invaders here.

        • +2

It can feel a bit like that :).
OZB has been a huge supporter of us, we have had some issues but we want to make right and we have learnt from past issues.

          • +3

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: Fine, I have sent you an email. Not sure why your site has a "contact us" form if its not monitored.

          • +1

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: I have done the same. Why are you not responding to emails and not answer phones?

            • @[Deactivated]: We are responding to emails, we have previously struggled with the volume due to covid but we are on top of it now.

              • +2

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: That is a blatant lie. You have not responded to the emails and you go on websites like this and lie about it. You have even been telling people to put this website as a reference in the subject line to get a response. Your poor reviews and not responding to people goes back a lot longer then Covid. You blame other companies and a Virus for your own extremely poor customer service and failure to deliver your products.

  • +4

One thing is for sure… anytime Ugg Australia posts a deal it'll end up at the top of the page!

And to help provide some balance, I ordered three pairs pre-covid, which are worn just about all day every day.
Delivery was fine (a bit longer than usual, but not unusual asd delivery was during covid), quality is good and the value is excellent.

And props to the rep. It sounds like they might have underestimated the OzBargain'er need to buy any good deal they see (and this was a good deal!) first time around and made a meal of it, but I've only seen them bend over backwards to try and resolve issues, while constantly being flamed by a couple of obsessive, disgruntled customers. I think they're doing a great job under fire, and hope they take comfort from the fact there's plenty of people willing to stick up for them due to the great price and product.

    • +1

We really appreciate your support! I will be showing this to the 100+ Aussie employees here also :).
      Thanks again.

      • +1

That's really nice to hear, please do.

Retail is tough at the best of times, I've been there. Can only imagine how hard it is through the stress and uncertainty a pandemic brings to the business and people. I just wish more people saw that, rather than thinking their $30 slippers were more important than the lives of the 100 people trying hard to keep making a living for their families.

      • +2

wow 100+ employees. Maybe you should make a few of them CSO's lol

  • +2

Rough timeline from my experience, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt so will withhold on neg first. Have emailed their marketing email address and we'll see how this goes.

25 Mar - Purchased and paid
    14 Apr - Product shipped
    24 Apr - Product delivered
24 Apr - Contacted them for size exchange
24 Apr - Rep replied with shipping label
3 Jun - Sent product back (COVID lockdown, can't leave for non-essential purposes)
9 Jun - Product delivered back to them
15 Jun - Received confirmation that they've received my exchange
7 Jul - Emailed to follow up but no response
15 Jul - Followed up with [email protected]

    • what is your order number I will make sure it is shipped express today

      • +1

Thanks mate, I have emailed @marketing with all the details.

        • No worries, sorry can you do me a favour and send email again with ozb in subject.
I want to make sure we catch it today

          • +1

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: This must be a joke from you guys. People have to put ozb int he subject to get response from your company now…… When will you be responding to my emails? I have emailed a number of times about an order from March that Australia post confirmed you never gave to them.

            • -1

@[Deactivated]: no that's not correct, I look after OZB but we are on to all emails.
Australia Post can not confirm that as they don't scan pick ups anymore, so that's just untrue.
Email me now with OZB in subject and Ill fix it straight away.

              • +1

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: It is true, your company has not responded to my emails. Looking at reviews and other comments I can see it is a trend from your company.

Australia post can confirm if a company only creates the postage info but not give the goods to Australia post.

                • @[Deactivated]: sorry but its not true, we are very familiar with Auspost procedures and ours.
Auspost has lost lots of packages over the covid period due to new staff and overwhelming volume.
We take responsibility regardless for the lost package, so I have no reason to make this up?

                  • +1

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: Thanks for your apology but when you give false information out so blatantly it means nothing.

You do not take responsibility, I would have my order from March and you would not have all the negative comments and reviews for not responding to emails and that your company is not taking calls. Australia post does scan tracked packages on pick. If your courier is not doing this you should talk to them as they are the ones taking your items most likely. This is your responsibility, not the customers.

You should either delivered or refunded my order but your company has not. You should stop making false statements about your customer service when you fail at all attempts so far. This is all documented and can be easily proven.

"Good luck" with your continued scams.

    • Update:
15 Jul - Complained via OZB
15 Jul - Rep sent replacement via Express post
      17 Jul - Received product
17 Jul - Waiting for wife to return from work so I can Cinderella her feet

  • +2

The customer service from these guys is pretty poor to be frank. It was a disappointing experience with them. Placed an incorrect order and then placed a correct order. Asked for the incorrect order to be cancelled and was denied. Took ages to resolve after a frustrating process. In terms of the products, it was shipped late - like 1 month after I ordered. Quality seems mediocre - not amazing but not super crap either. I think at this price point you pay for what you get, but from a customer service perspective, I would never buy from these guys nor would I recommend my friends use them.

  • I've always wanted uggs but they get dirty so quick. You get out of the shower or sweat or you step on tiles or something and they quickly get ruined. I'm surprised there isn't a slipper with a removalbe wool liner or something that can be washed.

  • but there is no deal! This is their normal price

    • +2

The normal price is $70 we only offer this to OZB

      • My bad - you're right. The ones I were looking at aren't wool.

        • that's OK, make sure you always buy real sheepskin :).

  • +1

    Bought one for the missus

    • +1

      Thanks for supporting Australian Made.

  • I bought a pair for my mum and she loves them. Says they're really warm.

The last time I visited I did notice that the wool was wearing I bit thin on one of the slippers.

Based on the negs, this can be a bit hit-and-miss but I'm happy.

  • Was so tempted but the very clear polarised view of this mob is making me hold off due to lack of confidence in actually getting a product and in some timely manner - let's face it these are beneficial in Winter and no good in summer!

    • +1

Bold Eagle, Ill guarantee you receive them with in 10 working days. If you don't you can have them for nothing….

      • I am going to hold you to this statement and expect a delivery by the 29.07.20 as I have just made an order for my wife and myself. If they arrive in that timeframe and are of expected build quality you will have earnt another loyal customer.

        • +1

          ok done, thank you.

          • +1

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: You have had to respond to a lot of criticism in this thread and arguably some of them were realistically beyond your control or capacity to deal with especially as Aust Post seemed to go into 'go slow mode' or had such realistic concerns about COVID-19 transmission they were overwhelmed (which I think is realistic).

So to try and provide some fairness I am going to provide 'objective' feedback of our interaction so far.

            It looks like you have come out batting. Two emails today;
            - A shipment from order #xxxxx is on the way, from your mob, and
            - Your delivery from Ugg Australia is being prepared, from Aus Post.

It is looking very solid so far.

      • +1

Do all your customers get this deal. It have been well over 2 months for me now.

        • We had previous issues due to covid and are confident going forward that we have fixed this.

          • @UGGAustraliaOfficial: Do all your customers get this deal. It have been well over 2 months for me now.

Then why are you not delivering or refunding customers items?

            • @[Deactivated]: we are, as I said email me and ill fix it for you right now??

              • +1

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: As you are aware, we have already emailed. Why do you keep asking us to do the same thing when you don't respond to them anyway? Stop giving false information. I have emailed a number of times already.

Looking at the reviews online, they go back way before Covid with the same issues about extremely poor customer service, not responding, not getting the items ect. Stop blaming Covid for you crappy customer service.

                • @[Deactivated]: Im asking so that I can help you, you seem more interested in making a point than having the issue resolved.
Im here to help you if you want to resolve your issue.

                  • @UGGAustraliaOfficial: What is your point? We have emailed a number of times, you keep asking us to do what we have done. You are now the definitions of insanity. Albert Einstein: "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results."

  • +1

Ordered a previous time. Arrived quickly enough. Decent quality, definitely worth $34. Not worth $70.

There are obviously some people who have had a bad experience. I suspect they are a small but vocal minority. It's pretty clear that although they may have made some mistakes, this company is not "dodgy" or running a "scam". If that were the case you'd have hundreds of downvotes for every deal, not a handful, and their business would not have endured for the many decades it has.

The rep's comments on all of these deals have been polite and encouraging. It seems their logistics and customer support processes have been challenged by the volume of OzB orders. Hopefully they have largely addressed that by now, if not perhaps they should consider limiting the deals to fewer than 500 at a time.

Regardless, I won't hesitate to reorder at these prices when I need another pair of uggs.

    • Thanks for the support

    • I do agree with your point about people yelling “dodgy” and “scam” when an issue happens with an order. People can highlight an issue with the product, or delivery, without being obnoxious about it. Saying things like “dodgy” and “scam” just makes the people who are saying it look childish and over reacting. Just detailing the timeframe for what happened is a better indicator. Frankly, if I have an issue, and talk to a help desk, I try to be cool, calm, friendly and state exactly what I want to see happen as remediation. Usually CSOs are happier to help me because they are sick of being abused all day.

  • +1

Another happy customer here from the last deal (May), postage took approx. 2 weeks. Quality is fine & very warm. No issues with grip on laminate/tiled flooring.

I'm located approx. 30 mins from the Tannery in Vic, I'm sure this plays a part in faster delivery. Great to support a local aussie made business, hell of a lot better than your Big W/Kmart crap alternative.
