    Only for EBay Plus members.

    • +8

      Only for Eligible Items.

And let me guess, none of the eligible items will have free shipping either.

      • All Ebay Plus items have free shipping to metro areas don't they?

        • -2

I think they did for the first few months after it was launched, but I've not seen an eBay plus item with free shipping in over a year.

          • +1

@Nukkels: It's in the T&Cs. One of the few reasons to join. Nearly every item in the eligible items link above shows free freight.

      • there are plenty of items actually, but ebay sellers are shady af

      • +5

…and let me guess all of the eligible items were marked up 25% first

      • +1

You know what annoys me more? The fact that eBay continue to advertise eBay plus on their website when I am already a subscribed member of eBay plus.

    • With a whole host of conditions to go with it I bet lol

  • +29

Generally these are items that have already been price jacked to offer "15% off". Make sure you shop around before you buy anything hefty. eBay Plus is a bit of a joke at the moment so don't necessarily think you're getting a bargain.

$3442 for there Q800T is a pretty keen price

      Samsung QA65Q70TAWXXY $1,691.50 not bad, 5 available.

      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/QA65Q70TAWXXY-Samsung-65-INCH-4K…

      • That is ridiculously cheap!

        • I’d take that in a 55 if they had! What’s the Q60T like?

          • +2

            @digitalane:

            What’s the Q60T like?

My understand the Q60T is worse than the last gen Q60, so better at least get Q70T if you can affort get Q80T

            • @superforever: Thanks. Am holding out for the 65 Q95T to hit 3k for my lounge room but happy to settle for a lower spec 55 for bedroom but wondering if the 60 is too low….

              • +1

                @digitalane:

but wondering if the 60 is too low….

If you are holding out for the Q95T, 60 is too low for you 😉 but may be not for some people with lower expectation.

              • @digitalane: Get an oled instead!

  • +29

Only bargain if the seller forgot to update their price.

    • +2

Yep, there is some epic price jack occurring here.

  • +3

Are non-members able to see if an item is eligible?

  • +38

These ebay 'offers' are really P15SAVEing me off

    • +3

      I'm a bit POFF10ed, too.

    • Gonna make an alt account just so I can like this a second time

  • Depends on the amount as well. I think this code has a limit of $300 while 10% off (POFF10) has a limit of $500. So if you buy an item like TV for more than $3300, then it is better to use POFF10 code.

  • Mavic mini flymore combo for $679 not bad.

    Gonna grab one now. Cheers.

        Thanks! A real time-saver.

      • Thanks saves me from looking.

      • -1

        No link

        • whoosh……

    • +1

Not really. I normally just use 1TB SSD bargain price range (~$150) as the target. If the SD card $/GB is lower, then it is fine. SD cards actually use inferior NAND than SSDs.

    • +2

It's often $21-22 on amazon au

  • +9

    Wasn't their code previously P15SOFF?

  • +3

For those looking for a new TV, appliancecentral havent jacked up their prices from the prior 10% … yet … although slightly more expensive for several TVs on the listed $$$ than some major stores, you may find a bargain. Grabbed the TCL 65C175 for $1266 and with $100 gift card via redemption works out better. I really really wished I had have purchased a model last year but at least I'll have a nice new screen to get me through more lockdown weeks in Vic.

  • +3

    Scams

  • Good, just checked if this worked on the NAS I just bought the other day and it does not. I got the best price possible using the 10% code so I'm happy.

This 15% deal is pretty bad, the range is extremely limited. Nothing I am interested in is included. Can't give this an upvote.

I'm waiting on the day they give us the ironic and appropriate discount code P15STAKE

When is the next Dell Ebay Sale? looking to buy XPS

  • +1

What are your thoughts on: this 4k 50" TV for $575 after discount?
First time getting a TV. Seems to have the essentials like 120Hz screen, 4k resolution, Netflix/Stan integration. Anything I'm missing?

  • +4

    lol….

    Huawei P30 Pro, 256GB - AU $1,565.76
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Huawei-P30-Pro-Dual-SIM-4G-4G-6-…
Sale history a few weeks prior to that: Sold for AU $1,117.76

These 15% off deals are just BS. You might be lucky to find a few deals where the seller forgot to update the price, but it will be a rare find.

  • +1

Do you mean 15% off garbage items? XD

  • +2

Ebay has become such a rip in recent times.. aye

  • +1

Seems like a good price,$820.25, for the SN9YG.

eBay Plus is the absolute worst. I got the purchase price right back in the form of a credit. I hope nobody pays for this utter, utter trash.

    • +1

Free shipping, often a gift or rebate worth almost as much as the fee on joining, some exclusive deals to be found. But yes it has very limited usefulness for many. I've cancelled.

    • +5

agree, Amazon Prime is light years ahead.

      • +1

        Streets ahead!

  • -3

No deal everything is price jacked. Serious problem with retailer.
Even the comments are overwhelmingly negative.

  • Best 55" tv? Not oled as the room is too bright

    • -1

Nothing is the "Best" depends on how much you want to pay.

    • OK how about TCL 55P8M TCL 55" Series P P8M QUHD TV AI-IN TV $569.50

      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/55P8M-TCL-55-Series-P-P8M-QUHD-T…

      • Thanks but tcl has never been mentioned as "best". A while back it used to be a certain hisense series.

I would think it would be Sony, LG, hisense for operating system and picture quality.

55" frankly there's not much difference in price range for the good ones (sure.. There's exceptions)

PISS AVE. Ebay pissing on all of us

    • Hey, that's the street I live on!

  • Any discounts on a Fitbit or Apple Watch Series 3?

Not a fair deal as per the guidelines from the ACCC:

Businesses using statements such as 'savings' or 'discounts' when comparing a sale price to the RRP of goods and services may convey to potential customers that they are getting a good deal because the sale price is less than the RRP. If the product has never been previously sold at the RRP, or the RRP does not reflect a current market price, then this type of comparison may, depending on the circumstances, misrepresent the savings that may be achieved.

It is also important to remember that a 'sale' or 'discounted' price should only be available for a limited period. This is because if a reasonable amount of time has elapsed and an item is still 'on sale', the discounted price effectively becomes the new selling price, so it may be misleading or deceptive to continue to call it a 'discount' or 'sale' price.

  • SO many Fake deals lately, when was the last time we had a 10% off sitewide or 15% of a lot of stores ?!

  • Can anyone help me out by giving me their "Spend $2000 get $200 back coupon? I have a big purchase and would be very helpful!
