  • Thought it was a new Uni. Remote till I looked at discription.

  • you're not really saving $414.95, when so few places charge even near RRP are you?

"Me poppin me Ozbargain cherry, like all first timers please be gentle and go slow."

How does this make the bargain you post a good one or not? If it's good, we'll be gentle and like it. If it's terrible you'll know about it. Just because you're new doesn't excuse you from posting a bad bargain.

Just sounds like someone from logitech shop creating an account and advertising their regular price for this.

Come back when you have the Harmony 900 for $199 pls.

    • logitechshop.com.au price it at $285 right now, so it sounds good to me. Is there somewhere else that's cheaper?

Might add that the Squeezebox Touch is also available from the same seller for $245:

That is a great price (& the squeezeboxes are great!)

Bought the duet from the recent sale….. it's good….

  • Good price if you were going to buy a Squeezebox duet but I wouldn't recommend them. I had one once and had to restart it all the time because it locked up so often (both the remote and the server locked up).

Much better off buying something like a LinkStation pro Quad which does just about everything the duet does but is also a NAS + many other things. You can get many iphone/ipod touch apps and use your iphone/ipod touch the same as the duet remote.

    • I have a Squeezebox Duet, 2 x Squeezebox Touch, Squeezebox radio and Squeezebox boom never had an issue with restarting or locking up on any of them. Sounds like you had a bad one which you should of just swapped over instead of giving up on.

Squeezebox with iPeng remote on iphone or iPad works great, I don't use the Squeezebox duet remote anymore but before the iphone and ipad apps came out it worked well.

Oh and much more customizable than Sonos. If you want something that just works get a Sonos if you want somehting you can customize and for a third of the price get Squeezebox.

    Meh I have Sonos <3

  • Why not use a Apple TV with XBMC instead?

  • The SB Touch is quite a deal at $229 as well ($245 at Logitech Shop)

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Logitech-Squeezebox-touch-wireles…

The SB Touch support higer-res files (24/96) compared to the SB Duet.

Download iPeng on your iPhone/iPad to control the SB.
