    • I didn't get anything :'(

      • +8

i didn't seam to get anything either..

        • +7

It's all falling apart at the seams it would seem

        • This post makes for a good yarn

        • All I needled was a code, not a string-a-long

    • Do you have the barcode? Can you post it here?

    • I managed to use both instore.

  • Should I be pre-existing VIP member to use this voucher?

  • +1

hmm.. if this voucher works with the SodaKing gas cylinders, a good opportunity to try one in the SodaStream

    • thats what I had a look at but no click and collect, delivery $12,
and some people have said you need to have original coupon,

so have to buy in store……

im looking for gas cylinder as well

    • +2

I use SodaKing cylinders in my soda stream. Haven't had an issue.

      • Same here. They're the exact same, just different label.

  • Can be used in store?

    • +3

yes in store or online (delivery fee of $11.99)

      • Can you click and collect?

        Edit: No

  • +5

    No click and collect :(

  • +1

    Is click and collect available?

    • Nope

    • +25

I used to work there. They tried to set up click and collect, got consultation, and were told they stock management system was so far behind that it wasn't possible. Their stock levels online are often wrong

      • +3

This would be an awesome deal with click and collect

  • +3

Received two cards $10 last week and used.

In store you need the original and they will check your membership.

    • +1

I used my printed coupon previously, it's OK, and I don't have a physical membership card with me, they asked my mobile number for membership for verification on the POS.

      • they asked my mobile number for membership for verification on the POS.

Yes no need for membership card but you still need to have a memebership with them to cross check mobile.

I used my printed coupon previously, it's OK

Good to know printed coupon OK but they may only allow one per member, I am not sure.

  • Will try this. Thanks, op.

  • +5

shipping cost is a bummer :(

    • +2

Yeah given that many things are way overpriced it negates the $20 off.

I hate when these offers are shared on ozbargain, as I assume spotlight did not intend for them to be.

    • +1

Shouldn't matter because you need the original email and it's tied to your membership

If someone wants to give it a go without the email, then best of luck to them.

      • +1

I just placed an order without the Email.

        Worked for me.

        • +1

          Shhhhhh

      • I will never forget the snowgum posting years back. I thought it was the ugly side of ozbargain when snowgum refused to honour the offer, but many here didn’t see it my way.

        • You might want to consider other people's views, not just your own.

          • @TEER3X: That’s rich, snowgum actually closed all stores very soon after, but I need to think of other points of views.

            • +1

@grasstown: Yeah, because of ozbargainers??? Smh

              • @TEER3X: Of course you would miss my point, you interpret they closed their stores cos of the deal, I said they didn't want a deal abused.

        • -2

          Snowscum!!

        • Or the $10 off $10 spend at Officeworks

"Promo code is invalid or conditions not met. Please note, promo codes are case sensitive."

    I am logged in :(.

    • Same issue here

    • +1

Are you ensuring that you spend over $20 excluding delivery costs? It has to be $10/$15/$20 in items (prior to shipping) to trigger the coupons to work.

      • Yes. And am logged in too. No luck here.

      • Me 2, probably targeted.

        • UPDATE:

I tried to checked out 4xMicrofibre Towel, and the coupon code is rejected with the following info

Promo code is invalid or conditions not met. Please note, promo codes are case sensitive.

and I did logged in, used all cap and met the minimum spend.

Today, I add some other product and check out, the code works now. It maybe the coupon code is not for every products.

    • +1

i tried on a sewing machine which is specifically excluded on the terms. so check the terms perhaps?

  • I can't use it. The order total is over $20 and I'm a VIP. Any ideas why? The 10 dollar one does work tho.

    • Excluding shipping?

    • +2

Some products are not covered under this offer, check terms carefully, also check cart, it shows which items are discounted with that coupon. If you have put only $10 worth of qualifying items only $10 coupon will work.

  • Any way to sort the full price item (only)?

  • Spotlight probably fixed the loopholes

  • +2

just sign up as VIP and I can apply the promo code 20CELEBRATE.

No click and collect, you have to pay for delivery ( start from $11.90) , this is a bumper.

    • Spotlight delivery is a bit weird. They assemble orders from stores all over resulting in way more shipments than might otherwise be necessary.

      • bad supply chain management

        • or reducing store inventory rather than ordering new stock. I noticed when i ordered a heap of cheap items from david jones at the start of the first lockdown i got packages from all over. WA, Canberra and Sydney.

          • @Antikythera: Looks like David Jones stopped doing it and just cancel your order. I had two of my orders cancelled, even though the items were in stock. Probably because different items were located in different stores. Absolutely appalling service.
At the same time KMart, Target and Myer were really good in shipping their items even when they were very cheap and coming from different locations.

        • +1

Actually pretty common, most retailers actually send out their orders from their stores rather than a central warehouse, have seen this with Myer, Officeworks, Target, Kmart, and I am sure many others. Sometimes the stock just happens to be in multiple places. I bought a pair of shoes online the other day, got the delivery email yesterday and it is getting sent from a store in QLD…. must be the closest store that has stock.

      • +1

Target also do this, I ordered 3 things, 3 separate deliveries from 3 different stores all over, surely this costs these companies more, plus more trips to the PO if you miss them..

    • +2

      BUMMER

  • 4 bath towels delivered for $11.99. Thanks TA 👍

  • +2

I just signed up to spotlightstores and the coupon seems to work!

Any suggestion of what to buy?

    • +1

16 metres of Spun Bonded Fabric Black 90 cm

  • Will there be a difference between online price and store prices? Are VIP prices online only?

    • +1

There is no VIP price - their free membership is just called VIP. Prices are the same online or in store.

      • Cheers mate

      • +1

Spotlight do have items that are VIP price only at times. You need to be a member (which is free) to get that price but they will be labelled as that

      • +1

There are VIP prices on some items - that's a major reason for joining for many people. Along with regular vouchers like these & for your birthday.

        eg Pillow Reg: $5 / VIP $2
Tried order of 10 with 20CELEBRATE (didn't buy):
        Congratulations, you’re saving $50.00!
As a VIP member you've saved $30.00 on this order.

Regularly receive offers only for members. But price is same online (+ delivery) or in-store.

  • Anyone recommend a good frying pan for cooking a steak from Spotlight?

    • +1

      They sell steak at Spotlight?!

    • +1

i bought one of these a few months ago. I really like its non-stick properties and the cooking surface seems very durable. iirc they were having a 50% off cookware sale and i paid $15

      currently $19.80 https://www.spotlightstores.com/kitchen-dining/food-preparat…

      • I ended up getting 3 of those in various sizes. Just read stories about cooking steak on non stick pans. Steak should be cooked very hot to sear and apparently non stick pans shouldn’t be heated too high.

  • 7 hand towels for $12.
    One per gym day

  • +2

If i print the coupon linked by OP and bring in store will this work?

    • I am wondering the same if the coupon is unique?

      • No need to print. You’ll need to be a VIP member. Can verify with your mobile no in store. Show them this barcode on mobile. Hubby and I used the same ones on mobile and went through no issues.

        • +3

My store wouldn't honour it. Said it was a "sample voucher"..
