UNIDAYS

Gotta access the Ed store through Unidays for 10% off existing student pricing.

For those without try getting Lenovo chat to match it.

I'm sure you'll work it out.

There are other bargains but this model seems the most popular in recent times.

          16GB/512GB configuration is $957.60
          16GB/256GB is $858.60
          8GB/512GB is $872.10

          • @doweyy: Thanks
so it is not 10% as i can get $1002 without code for 16gb/512gb

            • +1

@sakg: Yeah the discount works different on Unidays for extras, the base price is much cheaper but upgrades are 50% off also on their main store, making the better configs cheaper.

            • @sakg: $1005 was for e15 gen 2, I think, this one is e14 gen 2.

              • @Enjj0y: yes, 1005 was for E15 Gen 2 and with this code through unidays it is $957.60 now

          • @doweyy: is there a 16gb/1tb config?

  • +1

Can i get this discount through student edge id

    • No, i just tried. Got the below error.

Sorry! eCoupon not found. Try again?

The biggest problem is the delivery time! It could be over 2 or 3 months plus. New models could be released by then.

    • +1

Currently it's not expected the ThinkPad E series with Ryzen Mobile chips to be refreshed until the next generation of Ryzen Mobile chips are announced, which is likely at least half a year away (the Ryzen Mobile chips are now in-line on the same micro-architecture as the desktop parts).

  • +2

Be aware - delivery is expected to be early October. Ordered the E15 using the Education store last week.

    • +1

When is the ETA for the E15 ?

      • +1

From the website itself - Ships in 6-7 weeks

        .

        • Expected delay they said

      • +3

I ordered mine July 28. They changed the ETA this morning to Sept 9 after checking, which is better than the initial October 6.

        • +1

          Good news.

Please advise if this is for standard configuration or with upgrades?

          .

          • @w1nthrophy: Standard configs - bought it for mum who has to WFH

        • +2

I must have been lucky was quoted 6-7 week delivery. Ordered E15 on the 14 July arrived on the 28 July.

        • +3

I ordered a T14, got it delivered in exactly 7 days.
          July 21 Ordered
          July 28 Delivered

        • I ordered E14 on 27-July with some customization (RAM, WiFi, WebCam, Warranty) and I have ETA as of 6-Oct

  • Just for others trying, the Lenovo sales chat wouldn't even consider a price match on this for me. They referred me to their student store, but price match was right out for the AU store :(

    • +3

why would they price match a deal that's only meant for a certain demographic? it would defeat the purpose of having special offers for students.

no idea why you would even try it tbh.

      • Why wouldn't they price match it in their own student store? Same demographic.

      • +2

Others have previously had success and I posted it the OP.

Is this LPDDR4 or normal DDR4?

Anyone owns one of these can give a bit of a rundown?

  • Don't suppose cashback works with this?

    • Nope.

      My transaction tracked with Cashrewards

  • How do we get in I'm on unidays Extra 10% Off page and when I click Launch Website I get taken to the Lenovo Australia Unidays Store where it asks me to enter a password, I have tried my Lenovo password and unidays?

    • You need to be able to log into the EDU store first, then use "UNIDAYS" as the coupon code

Enter this code in the promotional code area during checkout in order to benefit from an extra 10% Student Discount.

    • +1

Had the same problem, log in with incognito mode instead and it should work

      • I just used Microsoft edge and it worked, must have been my adblockers etc.

  • +2

Ideapad Slim 5 also included in this sale, how does that compare to this E14?

  • The starting price is actually showing up as $782.10 for me, for the E14g2. E15g2 has a starting price of $773.10

Just realised that if you do change to the Intel AX200 (extra $10) then it'll be $792.10.

    • +1

but better to change it to anyway to get wifi ax

    • It only available for E14g2 :(

      • Yea
I was trying to see if one can order the parts from Lenovo by itself, but looks like need to enquire via chat

  • +2

any information on screen quality/brightness ?

  • Would appreciate steps on how to get this deal. I have a unidays acc and lenovo edu acc.

When I go from the unidays linke in OP it takes me to the normal lenovo website.
If i go directly to the EDU store I am unable to apply the coupon code.

  • What is the Passcode when check out?

Have account with UNIDAYS and LENOVO. The order has gone through Paypal after that asking for Passcode?

    Anyone has an idea?

    • +1

      same issue here.

Log out of EDU/lenovo store and only proceed through the Unidays link in OP. check out through that.

      • Thanks mate. It works!

  • if anybody wanted to Zippay it, at check out screen contact customer support through chat and they can help you out.

  • How to get a edu email?

    • +1

Go study at an educational institution, or work for one …

  • Any deals for the ThinkPad T14? Sadly missed out on the previous deal

    • +2

      $1700ish. Not a deal.

      • Thanks. I was contemplating purchasing the T14 over the E14 for superior build quality. A shame the E series cannot be configured with the 4600U or the 4800U the extra threads would help with my VM's projects

  • First time accessing Lenovo EDU store for me
It shows up as $1699 and 10% off that even through Lenovo education store and through Unidays Login.
Anyone know what i'm doing wrong to have it show up at that <$1000 price?

    • +2

I think the sale finished last night.

      • +2

        Ah damn
        Thanks for checking

        • It's back on

  • Very good price and the technical support is disappointing. I got the e15-2 version and when I connect my external monitor via HDMI, the screen looks distorded. And this is what I got from them :

"Based on the review done on this case, it is normally once one connect Ultra Wide monitor to machine.. the icons will expand a little."

But it works perfectly when I use an usbc cable or via an usbc hub + HDMI.

Code is not working for me, but the pre-discount price has reduced form $869 to $839 now

  • +1

    does this coupon still work?

  • +1

Happydude, can you please update the price? now with the discount it is down to 755.10 :)

    • +1

Also $764 for the IPS version ready to ship.

    • Dam that's cheap - Done!

  • IPS versions sold out - any idea if they will restock?

EDIT: Can someone provide advice what to do if you try to sign in via Unidays and you get the error "Sorry! It's not you… it's us. Please call the phone number at the top of the page and we'll fix this right away."

    • Refresh or incognito window.

    • I'm getting that too. Refreshing or incognito didn't work. Never bought anything though Unidays, tbh. I have through Student Beans, tho. Through both Lenovo asks for a passcode for the substore, but the Student Beans passcode was provided, while the Unidays one I didn't see it anywhere (no, it's not UNIDAYS).

    • Getting the same error as well. Wasn't getting the error yesterday and on the Unidays site.

      • +1

Still getting the "Sorry! It's not you… it's us. Please call the phone number at the top of the page and we'll fix this right away." error

Talked to Lenovo - they said to ask my uni for the passcode - not sure what they were on about.

        Maybe the deal is gone.

        • They told me the same on the chat.

Student Beans still working with the password they provided.

          • @wisdomtooth: Is Student Beans offering the same deal as Unidays? I thought they were separate deal websites!

            • +1

@Gazpacho: Student beans discount is different to this Unidays one

            • @Gazpacho: what he said ☝🏻

              • @wisdomtooth: Not sure if I'm looking at it wrong, but Student Beans discount seems to be the same as just going through the Education store? Was looking at the Ideapad just then

                • @Gazpacho: I bought the Ideapad S5 14" with R5-4500U 8GB 512GB just last week for $815 (net of 20% CR cashback) via Student Beans. I never managed to get through the Unidays store.

        • The deal has been disabled on unidays, so maybe they're fixing it now? IIRC the extra 10% off should last until sometime in October

  • Thought I'd add the SSD can be upgraded to 512GB for less than $120.

  • FYI anyone who is still following this deal and wants to purchase through Unidays, I contacted support and was told

We've had it confirmed that there is a technical issue on the Lenovo site that is causing this issue. Temporarily we've removed the offer from the UNiDAYS app and website. We will update as soon as we have confirmation from Lenovo of a fix.

    • Fingers crossed it will be soon
