150

Just logged on to my AmEx account and found this targeted offer for my AmEx Explorer Card in the usual announcement box above the Statement Balance. No enrolment link was provided, assuming it is automatically applied to those who are targeted.

Login to check if you have been targeted.

Just for you and a select group of others: Get $25 back when you spend $1,000, each month from August to November 2020. That's a total of $100 back, just for using your Card. T&Cs apply.

Updated the title with new statement amount. Looks like the statement credit is YMMV. Thanks to Javin's comment below.

Do you even Shop Small bro?

  • I got $50 for $1000 spent.Far beyond my monthly spend.

  • No offer for my Velocity Platinum. Probably targeted at people who hardly use their card.

  • got the offer on my platinum, not cash but 5k point each month with 1k spending for 4 months

    I got $0 for $0 spent.

  • I got nothing :(

    Nothing on Qantas Discovery Card
Even if I could get it, $1000 is more than my regular spend. At $25 back, my HSBC debit card is almost better at 2% cashback

    • Well, it's $5 less, only applies to contactless under $100 and doesn't come with 750 Qantas points.

It's not a spectacular deal by any means, but still significantly better than HSBC (assuming you'd spend that much of course - I wouldn't).

      • For someone who wouldn’t even touch $200 a month, Spending that much just isn’t worth it for me compared to HSBC.

  • Is this spent on everything?
